I'm enjoying the Green Smoke I bought, I got this one because it was sold local and I could try it first I'm not sure if its the most effective but it works for now.
My question is can i get new filters from different company's? It just screws on to the battery so i assume i can? Also the filters I've got now are level High they have 16mg of nic and they leave my throat feeling raw other lower mg filters are not satisfying what can i do? Any other advice in owning/switching to a e-cig would be appreciated thanks

Check with vapure. I asked them once and I believe they told me the threading was the same as greensmoke's, most 808's are threaded different than yours:unsure:

Many, many of us have done the same thing. I bought a Smoke51 from a mall kiosk before I found this place. I just HAD to have an e-cig RIGHT THEN! Boy am I sorry now. But....water under the bridge. I'd suggest just moving onto something much, much better for much, much cheaper. I got a Joye 510 kit after that and loved it, then have since moved to a Joye eGo....which I still have and which I dearly LOVE. I'd kill to have the $140+ that I wasted on that first e-cig. But it actually got me to quit smoking, and it got me here....so I consider it an expensive lesson learned but one that led me to better things. Chalk it up to the price of about 3 cartons of cigs that would have gone up in smoke anyway.

Hi germcage. I've only been vaping for just under 2 months so I'm still a noob here as well. I didn't do my research very well either and bought a Greensmoke kit as well. I found out quickly that I was gonna be recharging batteries often. I went overboard and bought lots of cartridges (I was bound & determined to quit analogs) with my starter kit. I could have returned the hardware but I would have had to take the hit since I couldn't return the cartridges so I just went ahead and kept it. The Greensmoke batteries are KR808D-2 and are not compatible with much out there. I did find compatible spare batteries at Le-Cig that sell a whole lot cheaper 14.99 vs those sold at Greensmoke 49.95. They hold a charge just as well.
I have since moved on to an eGo, found tons of great tasting juice and have fallen in love with dripping (which you can't do with the greensmoke).

I'm hanging on to the Greensmoke as a back up spare and to share with others if they want to try. Also I bought a Greensmoke PS and can use the cartridges with it. Like other's have said. I have no regrets other than the price (ouch) cause I haven't had an analog since the day my greensmoke arrived in the mail & that's what it's all about.....

Hi,
I have been reading this forum for months now-finally joined tonight.
As to the Green Smoke- was my first e cig ( and that was with 2 weeks of research)-
received it May 17, 2010 and have not had an analog since. This, after 48 years of 2 to 3 packs of analogs daily.
Now, I still have the Green smoke- but actually vape eGo's ( have 6 and love them).
Green Smoke has problems with their batteries-excellent customer service, hard "draw", good flavor, but just not worth getting any more replacements due to bad batts.
Ego's are so ,much better !!!

Well, I am almost a full week in with my V2 Starter kit ( I bought the Ultimate kit ) and honestly, the batteries on this thing ROCK! Seeing as how V2 is just now starting to become more known, and seem to be the new kids on the block, I am impressed so far, and am finding that the products are well made and reliable. I found out pretty fast that I definitley prefer the manual battery over the automatic, hands down. And oddly enough, I am REALLY enjoying thier menthol cartridges, which is funny because I would have NEVER smoked a menthol cigarette! So far, my parents, my brother, and two of my friends have ordered Starter kits from V2 after trying mine. A week in - and I am glad that I went with V2! I like the "kit" notion - getting everything I need at once for one price. Makes it less confusing for me, and when I have dealt with their customer service department, I have been extremely pleased! I ALMOST ordered Greensmoke, too...glad I saw V2 before I did! I hope that you find some solutions and that you are a happy vaper, too!! :)

I'm behind the times Hippy. I only have 2 eGo's but I just checked the P.O. tracking and my new kit will be here tomorrow with 2 pretty Pink eGo's. I was just going to get one spare battery but Cignot is selling their Pink starter Kit and giving a portion of all purchases to Breast Cancer Research so I ordered. I wanted a spare charger anyway. I'm very paranoid about my charger going bonkers. In fact I want spares for all my spares

I buy from Cignot also- good people !!!
and they have very good prices on extra 510 and eGo batts, too.
Plus an excellent warranty. Also, love their eGo cartomizers.
So easy to fill and last very well.

I have some empty cartomizers but I haven't filled them yet. I discovered dripping and that's my new favorite thing. My hubby & I retired last year and travel the US of A in our 5th wheel fulltime. Since my hubby does most of the driving I'll be able to drip while scooting down the road. I did order some drip tips with the order that's coming in tomorrow. From everything I've read it's a lot easier and less messy than taking off the caps that come with the kit.

This was my first order from Cignot and I'm very impressed. I ordered on the 25th & it's set to be delivered tomorrow on the 27th. Not a bad turn around time at all. :D

Well I'm going to do everything in my power to return it. Thanks all.

Good luck! I bought my greensmoke off their site before doing any research, and got suckered into buying a start up kit. I tried to return it as well, which resulted with me keeping my GS, and their return policy changing within minutes on their site after attempting to return it. So much for that 30 day money back guarantee. Not a company that I trust or recommend.

If you mean you can't buy blank cartos for the Green Smoke, you are correct. But yes, you can drip into them. Just use a paper clip and pop out the top. I wouldn't recommend you add, like, lemon e juice to a tobacco flavored carto, but if you just buy a similar tasting juice you can top it off for awhile. Also, V2 makes adapters so you can smoke your V2 cartos on it. They don't seem to work AS well, however. I've since moved on to an eGo as well, but do still like my V2's and Green Smokes. The ones I can't believe I started with were White Cloud. Super expensive, AND no vapor. I also had Luci. Gave them to my friend, since she discovered she could drip into them pretty easy. You can also buy the batting yourself from MyVaporStore and use up all your cartos that way. Just pull out with tweezers and stick new in.
