i got mine about a week ago so i`m no expert but i did a 8/7 wrap with 30ga kanthal on a 1/16 inch drill bit gave me 1.8 ohms. organic cotton threaded through coil with a good amount hanging down to soak up lots of juice. hits great. mine is a EHPro lite and it is the first one i owned. this thing hits way better than my protanks. i will be picking up 1 or 2 more of these. :toast:

You can make good coils with any of those gauges and you'll eventually need to try them all to see what you like best. For an easy working build I'd start with the 2mm hollow, folded once and wrap about 6 wraps with the 32 straight on to it. Pull the tails up and put on the first section of the chimney, trim the tails and tuck back down on top of the channels.

Edit: Here's what I was trying to describe. I still recommend a 5/6 wrap of the 32 and just ramp the voltage up to what you like on the evic. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...n-3-1-es-setup-re-wick-re-coil-my-method.html

If you want to try a micro coil with the 28, wrap about 14 wraps on a 1.5mm allen key tight as you can and once mounted, pulse it then pinch it together for tight spacing. That might be a little hard to thread the silica in though, and if you have any cotton you could give that a try.

There's several good pictures here on the forums and some good videos on utube. Here's a couple.

Edit..oops.. didn't notice evic for some reason. ..What resistance are you shooting for? I like to get at least 6wraps if I'm not using a deciohm coil.

Since you're not using cotton balls or rolled cotton, it won't be as tricky to figure out the juice wells. Just cover them up. I prefer to use as little wick as possible. The videos on cotton builds just caused me headaches. Following them to the T, and I still got leaks. Just make sure they're covering them after evap chamber is on.

The truman style is getting a lot of good feed back, but I just like to keep it basic.

I build all three of mine with the Truman style build. I have found it to be the best build I have done. Best flavor, best wicking, never dry hits, moist vape, etc. I think he uses sterile rolled cotton for his wick material. I have used that plus I have also used organic cotton balls and cotton yarn.
