It's important to consider things from the perspective of someone who's both a non-vaper and non-smoker (i.e., your SO; smokers will obviously not mind vapour clouds). They're used to regular, unscented air and nothing else.
I had the same issue as you, but I can see my vaping slowly gaining acceptance now that I refrain from doing it in the car, and when we're walking together, etc. Basically whenever it can get in her face.
Most human interactions involve compromise, but when you've got a good relationship going, both parties will get something better out of that compromise
I agree with you. She understands why i vape, which is good. Just not in front of her but the smell lingers in my lips for awhile.

I still have analogs with me when I sit kopitiam.... but smoke very less... one pack of 20 can last me for 5 working days... lol.... eventually all lao hong... lol...
Nah she prefers none actually. But she said if vaping helps then she won't stop me. A keeper indeed.

Yes.. slowly feed them with infomation and they will understand and accept. Like my two princesses.
They thought that i am smoking but after explainin to them. They accept the fact that its vaper coming out of my mouth not smoke. Bcos 99% of ppl conception is white clouds coming out from mouth = smoke. We have to change that mindset. slowly but surely.
Also 90% will relate vaping to smoking, meaning no good, bad for health + SG Gov is placing a Ban on this = Lagi worst.
And i think for Holixin case, his GF doesnt mean she dun like him vaping. She just dun like him to KISS her after vaping. YES i know, is nice to have the aft taste inside your mouth but not everyone likes to kiss a strawberr. Or unless you are a V Secret fans... Berri Berri.

My family and friends were rather taken aback as well when i started vaping, but slowly, I've shown them various articles and new studies and now they are more or less fine with it.

Thanks everyone for all the help and support. I'll slowly introduce it to her. The actual flavor wasn't strawberry. Its hawk sauce which smells heavily of berries I guess.
It isn't the flavor but just vaping that she doesn't like. She thinks it'll affect my health but I guess that's normal. PVs aren't fully proven to be 100% safe but I myself believe it is 99.9% better than ciggies. I love the flavorful taste in my mouth but idk is it psychological that made her say the berry smells like ciggies.
The analogs tasted like crap but it'll substain me till I get my PV after work today.

if she don't like the flavour that you're vaping, change it.
Thats one of the most beautiful thing about vaping isnt it? you can switch to any flavours that you or others like or don't like
Eversince I've discovered vaping I've NEVER lighted a cigg, the transition was painful, I suffered for nearly 3-4weeks, fell sick badly as my body is not used to it, flu, bad cough, I had to use my inhalers so frequently as I'm asthmatic... I've been though alot, and I believe most of our bros here gone through the same way too..
Remind her that you can save some $$ so can spend on her more wisely?

IMO, temptation to vape is lower than the temptation to light an analogue. I can now sit inside air-con room for hours in office before I feel the need to "Smoke"
Promise yourself not to buy any analogues anymore.. try and make it a point.
I have friends who gave up and switched back to analogues after a few months...
what I did was I helped them rebuild coils, taught them how do it in order to make it fun at the same time.. helped them get better quality mech mods ect..
