Stick to it, always hard when you start off vaping but you will get there in the end. Dont give into the temptation mate
Wasn't hard for me at all, took to it like a baby to water. And that's after smoking 20 a day for 20 years.

Is that unusual then? Maybe because I went for an ego type battery, rather than those little things.

I started vaping back in July. I had thought about trying it for weeks before that, but my wife and I decided it was time; so we went and bought an Ego T starter kit. From the point we switched, we went 2 months without an analog cig. We started experimenting with different mixtures and I started getting sores on my tongue. I relapsed and started smoking again but my wife continued vaping. I'm thinking that something in the different mixtures caused the sores on my tongue because when I stopped vaping they went away; then I tried again with the liquid my wife was using and sure enough, the sores came back.

Fast forward to February, I did some thinking and decided to give it another try. I'm using 100% VG because that is what we started with which worked fine for the first 2 months for me. So now, we will have to wait and see if it works out for me.

Glad to hear you've made the jump, willingly or not lol. Looking at my lineup (collection?) I have to own about 30 different flavors, mostly 6ml or less of each from samplers. It took me just about all of that to find my favorites, and even when getting bigger bottles of the goodins I decided to try one more and like it more than one of my original favorites...just goes to show you that with a little perseverance, and money, you'll find what works for you.

Hi Donnie & Welcome to ECF! Somewhere on this forum (Health Issues maybe?) there's some info about mouth ulcers, blisters, etc. and IIRC they are NOT caused from vaping, but from quitting smoking. The good news (again, based upon my old, faulty memory) is they go away fairly soon. I wish I could remember exactly where to direct you for this info, but it's on here somewhere, perhaps in one of the "Stickies" at the beginning of the Beginners' Forum. Anyway hope you can hang in there this time, and Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Same here, Donnie. I like PG but it doesn't like me. I love VG and it loves me back.:)

Edit: Just noticed - 1st post. Welcome to ECF!

After I started vaping instead of smoking analogs, my biggest fear was running out of juice! Analogs really taste nasty to me now.
Good luck!

I don't even have to worry about running out of e-cig stuff, Cheechako. I bought all the cartridges I will ever need all at once so by the time I run out, I will have already quit. :toast:
