im on day 4 and still half a pack sitting next to me just in case.

Ive found that keeping the pressure i put on myself in check is that hardest part of this process.

just relax and let what happens happen.

i had one yesterday and it was disgusting... absolutely disgusting... but i couldnt stop smiling the whole time because now i know, for sure, that im done with analogs for good.

dont know if i would have been able to type that if i hadnt had that analog yesterday.
Yeah about day four when I was drinking I thought I'd try one for old time sakes. Also at that time I didn't have quite what I was looking for in any ejuice I had. So I had an analogue, but I didn't like it at all.
Went back to vaping and finding better juices.
So I've only had one analogue since I got my vaping gear and juice, and I'll never go back to tobacco.

I can relate. It's not an easy process, but one day, you will realize that you just no longer want to smoke and your vape alone satisfies you. The temptation was doubly hard for me, since cigarettes here in my country are available everywhere and sold by the stick at really low prices (cigarette prices in the Philippines are among the lowest in the world, I believe). I hope you eventually have success in quitting. Maybe you can also try making your own juice. I have been doing so just a month into vaping and it has helped me keep costs down. Want to go even cheaper? Vape unflavored VG or PG or a mix of the two (with some nicotine). It costs next to nothing per ml.

Dude...you need to always keep a slew of juices in your home. When I find a juice that I don't much care for it gets placed in my backup stash. Hell I even have two bottles as backups at work that I've not had to use yet.

Poor planning on your part means relapse. Enjoy those smokes dude. But get a few bottles of juices asap.

Don't feel bad.

I smoked for weeks after picking up my first starter kit. I gradually reduced my smoking by replacing a cig with my PV after meals, with a beer, while grilling and eventually, that all important coffee cig.

No one here is going to fault you. We've all been there, done that, and own the T-shirts.

Yeah I know what you mean durianeliquidflavorplease. btw nice username. I'm filipino from Luzon but moved to America when I was younger. Alam na alam ko kung gano ka mura yang mga cigarillo sa pinas. nung nag babakasyon kami diyan noon bago ako nag umpisa mag vape lagi bumibili kami dahil sobrang mura compared dito sa states.

:) Man I don't know, your post made me smile at nearly 4 in the morning. Must be the sudden Tagalog, LOL.

I do know the cheapness of conventional cigarettes is a factor why many Filipino vapers still smoke (not that it's mandatory to totally quit... it's ultimately their choice). At least that's how I see it. You know, many here vape 0 nicotine (some complain they can't stand the TH with nic juices) then sneak in a couple of smokes in between.

As for me, I'm happy that I've made the total switch, though not without some instances of relapse and breakdowns like craving (and going out in these crime-filled streets to buy) cigarettes at 4:30 am. For OP: It's a struggle, but when you finally put down that last stinky, unable to stand it, you'll feel great and have a celebratory vape akin to Red Auerbach's cigar. Without the tar and 4,000+ chemicals of course.

Another alternative when you're low or out of juice is snus. Swedish snus is the best if you can find it, but even American will do in a pinch. Most convenience stores carry General brand now, just check out their website for a store locator. Nice thing about snus is that it's much safer than smoking, has the alkaloids that's missing in most juices, no spitting, very discreet, and no giant plums of vapor for indoor activities that don't allow vaping. Snus is what helped me kick analogs for good. Without it, I'd still be sneaking in a few here and there. Good luck and stay strong!

I had about a half a pack of analogs when I started vaping but quickly found out that I couldn't stand the taste anymore. I then got to the point where I couldn't even smoke a whole one before tossing it. Now I vape about the same amount the I smoked before but cartos last me longer than a pack of analogs did and I also like the fact that I can change flavors during the day if I get tired of vaping on one. But there are still times when I crave an analog. Don't beat yourself up over it just get some more juice and move past it.

I was a lurker... just joined... first post

Last analog was 2 days ago. I bought a blu disposable which is just about kicked, battery is good, flavor is gone. I bought an NJOY king at lunchtime today and proceeded to drop it in a cup of water :( . I have a 10 pack of flings that was shipped this morning, but I don't know if I am going to make it till they arrive.

I am craving a real smoke so badly right now it is ridiculous. The only thing stopping me is that I would have to go buy a pack and then tell my wife. (the family accountant)

I'm hoping to get over it...But this feeling sucks.

to be completely honest...I hate it. I got into vaping to stay away from smoking. but now that i've been out of liquids, the addiction kicked in again and had to buy a pack. It really isn't convenient for me especially where I live because i think that the e-liquids at my b&m are a tad overpriced and I don't want to try ordering liquids because i'd rather be able to go in and try the liquids myself before buying them.

I really don't like smoking analogs, the taste and smell are disgusting to me now.

As for getting more liquid. Payday for me is tomorrow, so whenever I pay all my bills and have some left over money, I guess that's when I can go get more juice. But it's really a struggle being a working college student and having to deal with money issues, especially when the vaping scene isn't big in my area yet and prices are jacked up very high.

Giving yourself an Achilles heel right there. The better prices, and for the most part, better liquid vendors are online, JMHO. Most of the better vendors offer sampler packs, don't have to try them all at once, get a paycheck, try a new vendor sampler in flavors you believe you will be able to handle and enjoy. Find one that you really like, go back to that vendor, and if they offer even a 60 or 120 mil bottle, can set yourself up for when money is tight.

Just placed an order with MBV - Concur on the very reasonable prices and awesome 'menu' - nurahyo dont b too hard on yourself. I started vaping about a year ago - vaped for a couple of months - started analogs again but switched to american spirit to kick all the additive stuff - recently upped my batt and -mizer size - started vaping again with a yummy butterscotch - have a pack I bought a couple days ago sitting in my purse but as long as I keep my puffstick in my hands! haven't felt the need for an analog. But that is just for this minute. Sometimes even saying 'one day at a time' is to much. But for ThiS minute I'm not going to pick up an analog...Hang in there and remember u r not alone in the struggle :)

Yes it does. Big time. I hope you can hang tough til your new goodies arrive - for me (a 41 year habit-pack a day) I have found that by changing up my routine as to the times and places I smoked helped the transition to the juice so if u fall off the wagon get right back on when your stuff arrives but looking ahead keep yourself stocked. Definitely a struggle to kick a habit that becomes rather an afterthought ingrained mode of behavior.
