just bought a vv woodvil from the classified

hi everyone
new to Reo and just managed to find this beautiful vv woodvil off the classifieds...currently using a mini provari...now trying to figure out the best atties to order...or anything else i might need...could use some help...It didn't arrive yet, but here's a pic of it from the classified....very excited to try it out...

Here are some threads that should answer many, many of your questions. Basically any 510 or 306 atty will work with your Woodvil. I use rebuildables now on all my REOs and absolutely LOVE them, but before that I used regular Joye 510 attys, or HH-357s (preferred) all the time. Some people on here prefer the 306. There's an inexpensive bottomfeeder rebuildable atty on the reosmods.com site that we're all liking a lot.

Really, to get started, you just need some 18350 batteries, a 510 or 306 atty, and some juice.

Since the VV Woodvil uses stacked 18350's, I'd recommend you purchase two or three brand new pairs of batteries and use them exclusively as matched pairs. Think of them like new tires for your car. They're safest as they wear out in matched pairs and benefit from regular rotation.

I picked up a used Woodvil, with Curly Maple door (can't remember which or when, now.... problem having so many and being so enamored with the VVGs since they came out... I've sorely neglected all others except for my VVGs and Coppervein 18490) but I can say I didn't really appreciate the Curly Maple doors until I had one in hand. They and yours are absolutely stunning!!!!
