So i just bought an ego t from Ecigscompany.com for £35 excited as ive heard so many good things about it and i wont have to fill up the cartridge as much with other ecigs so itll be easier for use, just a little worried on how big it actually is and going outdoors with it as my other 2 ecigs are cigarette clones but hopefully i will get used to it and not care about what other ppl think, just hope i will settle on this one as i have spent alot on finding the right one and the husband wont be happy when he finds out how much this one costs when he finds out when it arrives as he is a non smoker!!

The overall length will be determined by the battery size. All eGo batteries are the same diameter, they simply get longer as they get larger. The 650mAh batteries are 72mm long, 900mAh batteries are 87mm long, and 1000mAh batteries are 97mm long. Then you will have the added length of the atomizer and tank cartridge.

Welcome to ECF :)

The ego-t is a problematic system. Search on you tube for the problems you will see the reasons. Get yourself some LR cartomizers you will be much happier. Good luck and welcome

I've got an eGo-T 650 mAh battery and a SmokTech Dual Coil, Low Resistance Cartomizer...works absolutely amazing.

Thanks ive looked up the leaking and seems to be a big problem crossing my fingers mine doesn't leak. Just wondering what difference do the lr cartomizers make? Also have a couple of questions about the tank cartridges, the ecig comes with a 5 pack, how often should i change the cartridge after filling up? And would i have to change it when i want to try a different eliquid, i'm assuming i can just take it out and give it a rinse under the tap, is that ok? Thanks.

I use the eGo tank system and have zero problems with leaking. The trick is to use a soft, slow drag because hard, fast drags pull more juice through the wick than the atty can handle, leading to eventual leaking. Some people never seem to get the hang of dragging that way or just want to be able to do hard, fast drags as with analogs, so the eGo tanks aren't a good match for them. That doesn't mean that the eGo tank system is somehow fatally flawed, just that like every other vaping system out there, it doesn't necessarily match up with everyone's needs. I tried Boge LR cartos after constantly seeing them being recommended and found the need to frequently top them off to be very fiddly and annoying compared to the eGo tanks. Even worse, they were a harsh, unpleasant vape for me. Clearly some people like or need a hot, harsh hit that curls their chest hairs, but apparently I'm not one of them. Anyway, my point here is that there is no one-size-fits-all vaping system out there nor does hotter necessarily equal better, so it would be helpful if people would inquire a bit into what a new user actually likes before automatically recommending the LR and/or HV combo that they like.

The tanks last a very long time (months) with normal use. For sanitary reasons I soak them in vodka (you can also use PGA or isopropyl alcohol) for about 5 mins once a week then rinse them off with hot tap water. For changing juices, you can just pop the bottom cap off and rinse it out with hot water.

Thanks for the advice! Can't believe i'm thinking of mods already and i havn't even received the kit yet, hoping it will come tomorrow but i highly doubt it as i only ordered it today. I do like a good throat hit, which is why i changed from the cigarette replicas as personally i find them rubbish atleast if it doesn't work for me i know what accesories i can buy to try and make it better, one more thing is though if anyone can help, can you modify the ego t so you can use pre-filled cartridges? As their's a 510 on gecigarette that i'd like to give a whirl would i have to purchase their atty or cartridge or both to modify the ego, hope i'm not sounding too confusing!

You can use pre-filled cartos without any modification as long as the cartos have 510 threads. You might want to get a cone to make it look a bit spiffier, though. There are also LR attys available for use with eGo tanks, so you may want to also give those a try given that you do like a good throat hit. I didn't see them on the site you bought your kit from but Liberty Flights UK has them.
