Hi all
New to the forum.
Just bought my first kit for me and my partner - we're both going on th E-Cigs from Friday (when the kit gets delivered)

We've ordered (from Totally Wicked):

Titan 510 (2 x ECigs plus charger etc etc)
Spare manual batteries
Spare Atomisers
Empty Cartridges
e-liquid (Menthol)
PCC Charging Cases

We wanted to be prepared as we both smoke 20 menthols a day!

Does anyone have any advice for our forthcoming first day on Friday?

Cheers for a great forum!

Good choice, lots of folks are very happing with these.
It's an "old standby" and reliable.

I would however suggest buying a few "mega" batteries.
You will know why after a few re-chargings of the kit batteries.

Oh, and welcome to the forum :)

Lots of helpfull folks here.
Let us know how your doing w/ your first PV kit.

Congrats! I agree, great choice on for a first model :) Looks like your first day vaping on Friday is going to work out juuuuust fine. Btw - once you've made the transition and have begun saving a little $ (if that's a concern) you might think about getting eGo/Tornado parts (battery, cone, charger adapter - all compatible with the 510 gear you have now) to add to your collection. The batteries last me all day and it's nice to have that security and not needing to switch and charge all the time ;) Happy Vaping!!!

Good Luck!! You will be amazed at how well the e-cigs work. I started vaping last week (02/19/10) and I had a half pack of analogs in purse...I kept them there for a security blanket...well yesterday I gave them to a friend..now the only security blanket I keep in my purse is a spare battery. I have not touched an analog since....I don't even think about them. Be patient...you may need a little practice with the e-cigs..but you'll do fine.

hi,
i'm new here too, and new to vaping. today is my 3rd day and i have to say... my best day so far. it's been a real pleasure to vape, now i finally know what i'm doing. lucky ou bought spare batteries, as they die every couple of hours. that's the only downfall, but a small downfall when you consider the alternative.... analogs.
the folks here are just fantastic. all helpful and inspiring.
have fun!

So, it all arrived this morning and the analogues are in the kitchen drawer!
only a couple of hours into it but initial thoughts are superb.
I guess I'm vaping around a drag every 10mins. Takes a good couple of sucks to get good vapour.
The instructions said only drip 3-4 drops on the empty cartridge - I'm sure I can get a lot more in than this - looking at the fluval method which seems a good way forward!
Battery is still going stong after 2 hours (around 12 drags)

Thank you to everyone for their advice and support.
We'll get some more batteries and are picking up an ultrasound cleaner today for cleaning the attys (and other household things aswell)

I'll have a good look around for different e-fluids. I think we are going to mix our own in future as it seems the cheapest (and most fun) way to do it :)
VG vs PG? I'll see what everyone's written about this.

Thanks all
Andy

Thanks tarheeldan for the link - great blog and really useful.
There's so much choice and so much to think about - this is going to be a full time hobby (well that's better than a full time addiction me thinks!)

Had my first day on vaping and it's been great for both of us. No withdrawal symptoms at all...really weird!

Even went to my bank and had a little vape in the queue - no-one batted an eyelid.
Went to the supermarket and walked down the aisles - had a little vape - no-one batted an eyelid.
Drove home in the car with the windows shut (it's freezing here!) - had a little vape - no smelly, smoke-filled car.

Ashtrays have been washed and put away. Both of us feel really positive about this.

Thanks
