Just bought my first non-808, the eGo-K. What do I need to know?

So I have this on the way, in addition to an extra spring loaded clearo: New - eGo-K 650mAh w/ CE4 Clearomizer Blister Pack Starter Kit - MyFreedomSmokes.com

I know its not a joyetech, but for the price I figure why not give it a try. Should I be worried about it not being an actual joyetech? Also, I'm kinda confused about what I need to know in order to properly operate this one as compared to the basic 808s I've been using. I know I'll need to primer the atty before vaping. Is there anything else?

The CE4 is a top coil clearomizer - you need to keep that wicking wet or you'll get dry hits. The bottom coils clearos - Kanger's T3, T3S, eVod, and protank mini eliminate that problem and they fit well on any 510 connection eGo. So when you fill your tank you should be good as far as 'priming' goes. But once the ejuice level falls below the coil unit, you may have to turn it upside down a few times. See:

A PBusardo Rant & Review - Vision eGo Clearomizer V3 (long wick) - SnG Vapor - YouTube

The long wicks were supposed to help in this matter but the wicking/osmosis itself sometimes can't keep up with the vaping. ymmv depending on vaping style - if you're power vaping then you'll run into the wicking problem. Bottom coil clearos with true Joye eGo-c's still rule, imo. So when upgrading you might keep that in mind. But with the above info, what you have, should do fine for while.
