I upgraded from a pen style e-cig a few weeks ago, so I'm thoroughly enjoying my ego-K 1100 upgrade for obvious reasons. I was a goof, and didn't order more clearo's when I got it because I wanted to try the ce5+ wickless tank for a while first before ordering more. I was cleaning it one day, and like an idiot I broke it. I had to go back to my eon pen cig with cartos, and it sucked! My local tobacco shop doesn't sell parts, so I had to buy a new kit which was a Blow One. I really like it although it's only a 650, and it's a great backup to use now and then for different juices also. It came with a T2 clearo with wicks, and I'm wondering if that may be the difference that's making me enjoy it much more.

So my question is, do you have a preference in wicked or wickless? And what is your favorite affordable clearomizer? I haven't changed the wicks or anything yet, so that has me a little intimidated, and was my reasoning behind getting the ce5+ to begin with. I've watched videos on how to change the wicks, and I think I can handle that, but changing a head or coil still confuzzles me a bit.

hi

this is a good guy and a good video regardless which clearo

you end up using... enjoy :)

- A PBusardo Review All About The EVOD - Includes Recoiling - YouTube

Great video pufZeppelin! I've seen the EVOD before, and like the look of it. Changing the head, wicks, and coil didn't seem that hard compared to what I was thinking. Of course I'm guessing I could always just buy a bunch of new heads to wash and reuse for a while, until I actually need to change the other parts since changing the heads is so simple lol.

I used the T2 - better than the Visions, imo, but stiil a top coil/wicking which results in some dry hits sometimes.... The bottom coils are better for that and even though now the T2 mouthpiece is better and I believe the newest version you can fill from the bottom like the T3, but the mouthpiece fill on the older T2's tended to strain the threading. So....

Tabac BCC comes with a 1.8 ohm coil from Good Prophets and heaven gifts. They're supposed to be the same as the Kanger T3 but most vendors who sell them as T3's also fit them with the 2.4-2.6 ohm coils that end up being too light for a regular eGo type battery and for even the lightest flavors, imo. The have replaceable coils, so get some other 1.8's and 2.2 for your lighter flavors. Capacity is 3ml.

The T3S is an 'upgrade' to the T3 - it has a base unit and the coil unit fits in the base. The T3 has a combined base unit and coil. Hence, the T3S replacement coils are a bit less than the Tabac/T3. And those coils fit the T3 (you can get a T3S base for the T3 to use those coils), the MT3S, eVods, Protank and mini protank.

There's the eVod which has about 1.6ml capacity and a cosmetic metal skin with a window for ejuice but it's much easier to see with the T3 or T3S. It' has it's own replacement coils but again, the T3S coils fit the evod.

There's the MT3/MT3S - like the eVod's big brother - basically a T3/T3S with a metal skin that adds weight and obscures the ejuice level in the tank. 3ml.

Mini protank is the same size as an eGo batt (diameter) and has a glass tank 1.6ml. Uses either the evod/protank coils or the T3S coils.

All are bottom coil and bottom wicking - no or few dry hits (refill when near the bottom). No leaking unless when refilling you don't tighten the tank to the base, or with the evods, T3S, you accidently loosen the coil unit when filling. Always check all silicone seals, orings - esp. on the T2 btw. The one on the threads tends to drop down. If when unscrewing to fill there's resistance to unscrewing then the oring has dropped onto the threads. :)

Tabac BCC/T3

eGo 3ml Tabac BCC (Bottom Coil Changeable) Clearomizer
eGo 3ml Tabac BCC Clearomizer - Spare Bottom Coils

Tabac BCC/T3S

eGo 3ml Tabac T3S BCC (Bottom Coil Changeable) Clearomizer
eGo 3ml Tabac T3S/MT3S BCC Clearomizer - Spare Coils

I prefer the Tabac's. Had some gurgling with the evods plus I don't like the metal skins or the lower capacity. In my experience, the T3/T3S coils last longer than the evod/protanks, esp with the mini protank. I have only one mini protank going right now for a menthol flavor that needs the glass. Others aren't so affected. So the rest are T3's or T3S's or now the Joyetech eGo-cc clearo.

Hmmmm...I like the look of the Evod, and that it's easy to change the head/coil, but the small capacity is a bit of a bother. I also like the idea of the wick/coil on the bottom with both models because of the dry hits as you've mentioned. Lastly, I like the black drip tips better, so that's a tie breaker for me on all of them.
Thanks for giving me other awesome options to consider!

Thanks for the great suggestions pufZeppelin, Kent C and WarHawk-AVG! After a bit more spelunking a bunch of forum posts and sites, I've made a few purchases and I'm waiting in anticipation.

I ordered these from Fasttech on the 24th, but Hong Kong didn't accept it until the 30th, and their shipping issues lately tell me that I shouldn't hold my breath. :/
T4 Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (5-Pack / 2.4mL) $12.82
EVOD Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (1.5mL) $2.78
EVOD Electronic Cigarettes Atomizer Heating Core (5-Pack) $4.58

Sooooo, after seeing lots of rave reviews in the reviews section here about the swiftness of DiscountVapers, I ordered two from them earlier today around 2:30pm that were already shipped by 3!!
DV BCC Clearomizer - Smoke $2.89
DV BCC Clearomizer - Purple $2.89

I hope I get my order from Fasttech in the next week or so, if not I'll try to get my money back and just order again from DV.
Thanks everyone! :)

Good call my friend, thanks! I always double check to make sure they say it will work with an eGo style battery (that's what the BLOWone is also), but I guess you can never be sure until you actually screw it on to try lol.

I believe even tho they say evod, they are not original kanger (clones)
and there is issues with the battery contact fit ON SOME...

so just because, it's a good idea to have some adapters handy (boy scout motto ;))
