Hey all, I just bought a new ecig. it is a Haka 650 mAh with either a oakley or gemini tank. im trying to get it to hit and it wont. I only got it to hit twice and then it stopped. the white LED light comes on which i read means that it is above 30% charge. so i took it home and charged it all the way and it still will not "hit" please help. thanks!

Hi Talon!

Could you maybe have over-tightened the tank? If you screwed things on too tightly, you may have pushed down the electrical contact pin. You might try taking a toothpick and GENTLY try to pry up the center pin on the battery. DO NOT come up very much - just barely a nudge.

Then, put the tank back on, but stop when you first get resistance to screwing on the tank. If you pushed it in too far, you might have shoved the pin down too far and maybe caused some internal damage :(

Hey im not sure exactly what the pin is i have the tank off looking up into that and the battery i can see the little metal piece. which one is the pin. and i will try that. im not sure if my coils are wet or what. but it isnt my first ecig i didnt do but barley hand tight. no forced tightness at all

Yes, the little metal piece right in the dead center of the top of the battery. O.k. cool that you didn't over tighten. Also, make sure you don't have any juice down in there. Some of my EVODs would leak a little, and I wouldn't get the battery to fire. Hopefully someone can throw some other suggestions your way :)

Hello and welcome to the forum talonj33. Glad to have you here!:)

The coil should be wet if you filled up your tank.

If the center pin of the battery is not making a connection with the atomizer of the clearomizer/tank the battery will not fire. This usually occurs from over-tightening the tank onto the battery connector. Just make sure that if you use something conductive (metal) to pry up on the center pin that you do NOT hit the fire button while you are working on the battery. Or better yet, turn off the battery.

If you continue to have problems, buy a few spacers from MadVapes. They solve all connectivity problems. Just drop one into the 510 well of your battery and you're good to go! You can thank ECF member GinnyTx for this little tidbit!:)

If you bought it locally take it back and have them fix/replace it.
If you bought it on-line take it to a local shop and let them suggest a fix.
I learned long ago that messing around with a New product that fails to operate will result in Not being able to get it replaced. If it doesn't work when it's new how's it gonna work after it has a few miles on it.
