Just cant find the love for the protank

Ive had my protank for 3 weeks now first week went through 2 wick heads then someone told me to take the flavor wicks out and turn the little rubber seal upside down did that worked great for about 3 days then thought it could be gunked up so cleaned it up was ok for 2 days now im here to ask for help.. my juice is 50/50 from MBV its clear so not dark and thick. I keep my volt at 3.8-4.2 not much vapor and little taste. I have taste and flavor with my little cheap clearo that came in my kit(ego 1100 twist) I got the protank because it has so many likes on here but im not lovin mine. PLEASE help me love mine

Pull the wicks out and recoil with cotton. I recoiled my heads with cotton, no flavor wicks and it is night and day difference. No leaks, wicks great and much better flavor then stock heads. There are some tutorials on the forums.

I recoil with 3mm silicate wick. 5 wraps of 32 ga Kanthol and it works just fine without flavor wicks on my 50/50 juice.

I dont pull any wicks from mine and my juice is pretty thick. I used Evod heads though and they seem to last me a week. Somehow i kill Protank heads in 2 days, and honestly the draw is a bit much for my liking. I dont have gunking issues, my vapor production just drops immensely. When i used to get gunk with certain juices in the past, it would burn like crazy no matter what i did. Ive found some juices that seem to never gunk though and that helps

Try removing one of the wicks. I did and it helped lots. Just remove one though or it could start to flood.

I have only vaped my protank with cotton and hand turned coils. so my experience has been great. I have alot of evod heads so I can replace them everyday and not think twice.
