I have not heard about e cigarettes before 4-5 days ago when a waitress at a restaurant recommended them as well as a 7-eleven worker as I was buying analogs..I have never been a heavy smoker but have been consistent..about half a pack a day..most of the time less..sometimes more..have not smoked an analog since my overpriced purchase of a smokestik 3 days ago...I feel like this discovery of mine will be life changing..I bought my smokestik starter kit at a deli by my house for 90 dollars which included 2 batteries 4081 I think you guys call them..3 cartomizers, a charger and a carrying case..I stumbled upon this forum after the fact and realized that I had much better and cheaper options like a yeti/titan or a ego..I also learned however that the smokestiks/4081s are not the worst choice I could have made..Also excited to find out I can refill those cartomizers with e juice which I still have to purchase as well as figure out how to actually fill it..I will search the site for this info but if anyone can send me some links on how to fill 4081 cartomizers I wouldnt be mad at them..As far as I can tell the cartomizer has two sides..the side where you put your mouth with the little pinhole..and the other side which screws into the battery..do you drip the liquid into one of those sides or do you have to pull the thing apart in order to get to the juice holder??? I think i am going to buy juice from totally wicked based on people name dropping it often..excited about my healther lifestyle..

Hi digitek, welcome to the world of vaping. I'm still a relative newbie myself, but it has changed my life. In just a few short weeks i'm feeling so much better. No more waking up feeling like i have lead weights tied to my lungs. sense of smell and taste are coming back, lungs feel like they are healing. This after 20+ years at 1 1/2-2 packs a day.

I use a Joye ego 3 piece setup so i'm no help on your cartomizer questions but I would suggest hitting youtube if you don't find your answers here right away. There are TONS of helpful videos regarding E cig use, care, refilling, troubleshooting etc. I hope that helps.

happy vaping

I've not handled a SS cartomizer I assume the mouth end has a hard plastic cap that is probably glued on? You can buy empty 4081 carto's with removable softcaps from azsmokefree.com and goodprophets.com with those you just use a paperclip to pop the end cap off and put several drops of juice in them also makes it easier to replace or clean the filler inside. With the hard caps to refill you can use the condom method(little rubber thingys that come on new carto's) to force liquid in the bottom, or force off the plastic cap.

Hi and welcome! You'll find a world of flavors at your fingertips - and so far I'm in love with Ms T's Bakery, Velvet Vapors, and Tasty Vapes. Along with giving up analogs, I live a low sugar lifestyle by necessity so these places have given a whole world back to me that I previously had to give up. I hope you find everything you need - this forum has been sooooo helpful to me! :) Good luck and welcome. :)

Hi and welcome to ECF. To fill hard cap carto's I just drip juice into the hole in the battery end, it'll soak right in. On an empty blank, i.e. no juice, you can usually get around 20 drops in. When refilling a used one, about 12 drops or so. Just drip juice into it until you think it's about full, then blow through it with a tissue under it to catch any excess, to see if anything comes back out. After a few tries you'll know how much it will hold. Some people like the condom method mentioned above, but I tried it and found it more hassle and no better than just dripping juice into it. Others will recommend a syringe, but same deal, why bother in my opinion.

just ordered some juice from backwoods brew..was tempted to go ahead an order an ego but figured I should give my 4081 at least a week or two before switching up...this was supposed to be cheaper than analogs? Just a joke. you cant put a price on your health..but seriously with all these gadgets and flavors this will also be expensive..but fun..and healthier

Welcome and congrats on your life prolonging decision...I also advise you to check out Vapor Renu, great juice, great price, fast shipping. You can fill the cartomizers via the condom method as noted alot on this site asn well as you tube. Just remember to clean them out properly if you are switching flavors of juice.

Dont be dissapointed with yourself when after a few weeks you decide to upgrade your ecig. It is just a natural progression.

I just viewed the doctor vapor tutorial on how to refill cartos on youtube and he explained it very well..doesnt look to difficult..now have to get some juice

There's an easier and quicker way to refill cartos. I've explained it in one of my blogs. The link is over at the left under my username.

I am also new to vaping. I am amazed at how easy it was too switch from the analog. I was a newport smoker for 16 years. I bought the starter kit from No.7 and it came with the menthol e liquid. I didn't quite like the methol flavor that they had. After reviewing some threads from methol smokers, I purchased the nuport from litecig(not bad) and menthol ice from Halo. I have to say that I am so excited because methol ice is exactly what I have been looking for. It is so great to have found this new alternative to smoking. My clothes, hands and breath don't smell like nasty cigarretes. Vaping is really changing my life!!!!

I have been vaping for almost a year now, I just finally joined this forum, I have been reading this forum for a long time. what was stopping me from joining? I do not know. anyway I think getting a ego will be your best bet. as soon as I started using an eGo I stopped the analogs completely I got an eGo just as they started coming out and then switched to a 5v device soon after that. All in all I save a ton of money with just about everything I do. I even make my own juice and I can tweak the juice as I see fit. instead of having tons of juices I do not like and just sitting here i can add this and that and make it better. I love doing that. I make juice for all my friends and family. They seem to like the free juice. lol Should I charge them?
So now what do you do now that your in this. put the analogs down and feel better about yourself. just in case you didn't yet.
