thanks again.

That IS very nice looking indeed.
If you don't mind, how is the removable side attached to the box?
I can't see in the pics.

its press fit until my little earth magnets come in.

Cheers, Thanks!

Nice looking mod, you did a nice job on it. I have one question though. Why did you leave all that excess wire?

repair if needed and i was just to excited to try it.

My guess would be repair. If something shorts he can snip, strip, pull up some of the slack and resolder without having to completely pull the wires out.

yep

Looks good indeed :)

Just because I just read about the issues some people have had with their batteries not playing nice in their mods, is there any sort of protection in there?

no protection.

I wonder if something like a PTC would provide some measure of protection and not cause any performance issues.

Wooooowwwww! Remember, I offered to buy first. Dibs on the bloodwood. :D

Fantastic work!

thanks! if i sell you will be the first to know.lol.

Not too into the red coloured woods myself but that does look nice.
One of my favourite dramatic wood combos is Africian Blackwood (Dalbergia Melanoxylon) and Yellowheart (Pau Amerello).

just searched that wood and it looks very nice! i tried to get some of the african blackwood but i was outbid on it. i never thought wood would be so pleasing to work with.especially hardwood.if my hobby wasn't drag racing i could see myself wanting a woodshop.right now my shop is all mechanics ,welders and car parts.mabey in the future

i have enough wood for 2-3 more. next one is going to be my everyday vaper with purpleheart and bocote wood.

Ebay is not a very good source for wood.
I don't know from personal experience how good these store are but this thread has a number of BC wood suppliers.
Hardwood Lumber suppliers by province
If all you are looking for are small quantities of exotics, you can contact some of the other suppliers that are out of province. Many do not mind doing mail order.
My local supplier (Artistic Woods) has some wonderful Blackwood in stock (although, their website really needs an update).
