Hi,

Just found this forum a week after buying my Gamucci micro starter kit, wish i found it earlier!

I have noticed that there is ways to customise the e-cigs and i was wondering if thats possible with the Gamucci as i feel that i dont get a very good draw from it and it isnt producing much vapour, anyone any ideas or would it be better buying a different product?

Cheers :thumb:

Sorry to hear you got the Gamucci, the very same thing happened to me, I bought the Gamucci before discovering this forum.:(

I found the Gamucci to be very poor, if there is any way you can return it, do so. I'd look at Electronic Cigarette | Free Yourself... | e-cigs Welcome and think about their 901 range.

You'll never get everyone to agree on what's best!! Many people, myself included, think that it's best starter. Some people never move on. The 901 is no better or worse than other e-cigs for reliability, but it's a good starter.

Have a read round the reviews, you will find there is a slight disagreement about whether it is better to go for a top brand with a long warranty, or go for cheap but disposable. For my own sanity I take no position on this !!

I think e-cigs will sell an eco starter kit for £26 delivered, I think thats a pretty good price for a decent e-cig, it's miles better than the Gamucci and consider the price of fags.

So is the 901 the best of the lot then? Ive read that lots of parts breaking is sometimes an issue, is that the case with the 901?

Hi Kevin, I've only been e-smoking (or vaping ) for a week and a half now, I chose a 901 from a recommended UK supplier after reading a lot of reviews and experiences from the knowledgeable and friendly folk on this forum. I have had no issues whatsoever with the kit I received. I would say that the 901 is an excellent choice to start with imho.
However this whole idea and industry is in it's formative stages, and as such there are bound to be a few teething problems with quality control etc. With this in mind I would strongly recommend going with a well quoted UK supplier, and not just taking the cheapest off an auction site. There are good suppliers on here who have no problems replacing faulty or DOA parts. As always, a bit of research and common sense does no harm at all.
Good luck and happy vaping :thumb:

Thinking about ordering the 901 today, was going to go for the cheaper starter pack (white with green led)

What sort of spares should i be buying just incase?

Also i will buy some liquid as well, can anyone recommend a decent one that acutally tastes like real cigarettes as the ones i got with the Gamucci didnt really taste of much resemble a real cigarette!

(I am used to smoking Marlboro lights btw)

You'll need spare batteries and atomisers. It's worth buying a second starter pack as that'll give you two more batteries, another atomiser and another battery charger so you can charge two batteries at once. Then just replace parts as and when they fail, as you'll have spares.

I'm not really sure what to recommend for liquid. I've only tried a few and I haven't had one that tastes like a real cigarette yet, although I'm kinda heading away from looking for one that does. That being said, Totally Wicked's French Pipe is absolutely gorgeous, as is their menthol if you fancy a minty vape.
