um....welllll.... can do better... I got this same kit for 55.00 and some other items <which you'll be needing anyway> the total was like 85.00...

asti - Are your eGo batteries 650 or 900mAh? He ordered the 900mAh kit, so his batteries will last 38% longer than the 650mAh batteries (or about 3 hours longer). That could be one of the reasons for the higher cost of his kit.

yea you can definitely get that a bit cheaper liberty-flights has the riva which is...29.99? to start with and then you would have plenty of cash left over for juice and stuff

I would ask you the same question. I believe the $29.99 price is for the 650mAh battery, and at the moment, I don't know what's included in the Liberty Flights kit, but I think it contains less items than the kit that the OP bought. Also, the Riva is a generic and not a real Joyetech eGo.

1. Return whatever it is you got and get your $$ back
2. Get a 510 kit or an eGo
3. Up the nicotine level a bit - You'll never get the listed nicotine from vaping...it's always going to be a bit less
4. Enjoy!

i'm with basilray plus one suggestion... get a LR (low resistance) atomizer. a 510 LR on a joye eGo will give you what you're looking for!

at 29.99 he could buy two "generic" or not and still be paying less
* 4 x 750mAh Battery
* 2 x 510 Atomizer - 2.2 ohm resistance
* 2 x 510 Low Resistance Atomizer - 1.7 ohm resistance
* 2 x USB Fast Charger
* 2 x USB Mains Plug (US)
* 20 x Blank Carts - e-liquid will be required to fill the cartridges, sold separately
* 2 x Atomizer Cone
60.00 bucks
3 dollars in shipping
leaving 10 dollars for juice with which he can get 3 5ml sample sizes of his taste/ mg level

I had never heard of the South Beach e cig so I went to their site. I found this part hilarious and deceptively angering at the same time:

"Forget those cheap e-cigarettes offered by other sites... Our Premium Kit is a top rate quality e-cigarette kit ready for everyday use."

It's companies like that which will have the most negative effect on vaping. It causes people to pay way too much, for an inferior product that will turn people off from vaping in the future. Not to mention they are just deceptive as hell. Their low price kit includes a subscription to a "Monthly delivery" service at an additional cost.

i have notice that more mg does deliver more throat hit

Yup, higher mg of nicotine, and some other factors determining throat hits are: higher percentage of PG (propylene glycol) than VG (vegetable glycerine), fully-charged battery, juice supplier (some suppliers mix their liquids differently, for some reason, and have little or no THs - there's one in particular who uses grain alcohol to produce throat hits, which doesn't work for me), whether or not your throat is numb from vaping too much, the battery voltage, and probably a few other reasons.

I was a pack-a-day camel smoker for 10 years before I got into vaping. I started with a Blu (Rebranded l88) but that wasn't doing it for me...got a KR808 and haven't wanted a "real" cig since. Good battery life (make sure you get a starter kit that has 2 batteries) and great throat hit (depends on the type of vapor you use- experiment and see for yourself!)=no more want for a cig.

When you order a starter kit, also make sure you order some spare blank cartomizers and some e-juice- what works best for me is to have some high strength (24mg) liquid on hand for when I have a real "craving" and keep some 6-12MG strength liquid around for pleasure vaping (the e-cig world's word for "smoking") in between the high strength stuff. That was I can get my fix if I need one but I can also vape all I want without dosing myself.

Your throat hit (how much it feels like smoking a cig) will depend a lot on the type of liquid you are vaping- in addition to the standard wisdom that PG based liquid gives more throat hit but less vapor and VG base is the other way 'round, I've found that the flavor of the liquid itself can influence throat hit- some are more mild than others. All other things being equal, I've found that sweeter liquids have less of a throat hit, wheras herbal, bitter, or sour liquids have a pop. That's not to say that sweeter liquids are bad, I vape FSUSA's Cola flavor like it's going out of style and it's a very sweet, mild vape. But when I really want my fix, I go for a high (24MG) strength, herbal flavor like Clove, or even a spice like Apple-Cinnamon. Really hits the spot for me and keeps my want for cigs at zero.

Anyway, best of luck to you both! LOT'S of people on this forum have been in your shoes and are really willing to help!
