I am completely new at this. I just got in my Kingpin 510 starter kit. I have no other accessories or ejuice . I am currently charging my battery. I am curious about the packaging of what must be the atomizer? It looks like it already has a cartridge in it and there is liquid in the clear sealed bag it is in. Is this normal? Do I replace this cartridge before I start? and what is the liquid in the bag? Thank you so much for anyone who cares to help me out. I am a little lost :)

I don't know much about the Kingpin, but my Yeti 510 atty's came with blank carts on them I had to take off. As far as the liquid in the sealed bag, I'm thinking this must be a prefilled cart, as my kit came with some of them. Fist take the blank cart off your atty then open one the the bags and put that new prefilled cart on, screw on your battery and you should be good to go. I hope this helps.

The atty comes with a blank cart that does not have any fill in it. It can be used if you put some fill in it.

The liquid you are seeing is put in there at the factory to keep corrosion away. (If we are talking about liquid in the atty bag.) You will need to get that out. Blowing from the threaded end, with the cart off, a few times will get most of it out. Without any extra juice, you cannot prime it. So you will want to rinse it out and blow it out again. This should get rid of most of the fluid so that the prefilled carts that probably came with your kit will be usable.

Note that the prefilled carts always tasted nasty to me, no matter what they were filled with. Some don't mind them and some prefer them. Taste is very subjective.

I also highly recommend reading http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ping-illustrated-guide-e-cigs-part-1-6-a.html to give you an overview of the world you are getting ready to step into. I found it best with a fresh battery and a full cart.

Good to see somebody tried the Kinpin. I ordered mine last night and then did a little more research today and realized that most of the more popular vendors around here stock the JOYE 510 and since Kingpin doesn't make any mention of JOYE I'm assuming they don't stock it. I was looking into the GGTS on VK today and Rob told me I'd probably be better off getting used to a standard 510 first. When I mentioned I already ordered one he asked if I ordered a JOYE and said that there are a lot of companies that put our 510's that aren't JOYE's and really aren't even in the same league. Got me a little nervous!

Hoping mine turns out alright. I've been trying to get back into vaping for a while now and just haven't been able to find the right mix. I ordered a PCC and a PT this time so hopefully having to not deal with battery issues like I did with my 901 will make it easier!

Would anybody with any experience with Kingpin mind updating us how they stack up? I don't mind paying for the shipping to mail it back if I don't like it I'd just much rather know now to go ahead an order a JOYE from VK or AwesomeVapor now so that I don't have to wait for this one to come, realize it blows, then wait on another!

Thanks BG! I feel a whole lot better about my purchase.

Starting to wish I hadn't found this site though, I must admit. I haven't even gotten my 510 in yet & today I was seriously looking in to buying the VK BBTS (Rob recommended I get used to my 510 first then try a 3.7 or 6 MOD next) & have now decided to order the Janty eGo the minute they get them back in stock!
