First off, allow me to introduce myself. I am Jose from Pittsburgh PA. I just got my vaporizer, a VaporKing Shorty. I have been smoking analogs for about 6 years now and I have been trying to ween off of them for quiet some time now. My girlfriend is not a fan of smoking and has been insisting me to quit, especially since her mother passed away last year due to lung cancer.

I am not a big time smoker. I usually smoke Camel Lights and a pack last me up to 3 days. For me, smoking is more habitual and a passtime during breaks between classes and work. Because of those circumstances, I feel that e-cigs may be a more beneficial route to quitting, because I can get the oral fixation. I going to be switching over to non-nicotine cartos soon.

Anyways, I look forward to chatting with you people and learning more. Is their anyone else from the steel city in here ?

By the way, I got a sample of the Wowboy from VK. WOW ! I love it. Any other recommendations or suggestions.

WELCOME ABOARD!!! V4L has some great stuff. I was a hardcore Winston analog user and I finally gave up on trying to fine a tobacco flavor I liked. From V4L I really like the grape and caramel apple. I just got some watermelon and kiwi apple strawberry juice. I will let you know if I like em. The best juice by far I have found is Vapor Stations VS4!!! Their RY4 is really good to. Many people refer to the RY4 as a tobacco flavor, but I don't see it. Good luck with the vaping!!!

thanks for the responses !

@mykanix : I am most defininatly interested in tobacco flavors since that is what I am used to. Im too new to the vapor scene, so I don't know how comfortable I would be vaping some "Fu-Fu" flavors, hahaha. Thus far I have tried the Nuport, Cowboy, and Wowboy from V4L.

Im not a menthol smoker so I didn't fully enjoy the nuport. However, it didn't taste nearly as bad as a menthol analog, so I guess thats a good thing.

Cowboy seemed too light. This is surprising for me to say because I'm a Camel Light smoker.

Wowboy I have feel in love with. Im sad I ordered the cowboy and not the Wowboy (Wowboy was a bonus sample V4L threw in the order). Im most definitely going to be ordering the Wowboy in my next shipment. Its strong, smooth and has delicious taste !

I heard alot about the RY4 that you mentioned. how is that like ?

I would say that I am mostly interested in tobacco flavors. I have no intention on discriminating the other flavors, its just that I feel more comfortable with the tobacco flavors.

Though I have to say that after seeing whiskey and various coffee flavors, I am tempted to step out of my "Safety bubble".

whats everyones take on Johnson Creeks TN cured ejuice ?

Hey :) I'm a bit east of ya, but close to the 'burgh!

Definitely step out of your safety bubble - I thought for sure I would love fruity flavors, and hate tobacco flavors (I never smoked for the 'taste' really).

I found that I love Margarita...even though I hate the drink, but I think it's the lime or something in there. And I actually like the Kamel from v4l - cowboy had to harsh of a TH for me. Hate menthol cigs, but actually enjoyed the spearmint. I'm hoping as my tastebuds come back to life I'll find a wider range of flavors that I enjoy.

Speaking of whiskey....does anywhere have a Southern Comfort flavor?

@Neekyme

I totally agree that the Cowboy has a harsh TH. I also am interested in knowing if there's a SoCo flavor out there. That would put a huge smile in my face !

I find it strange that a lot of people I have talked (in the forums and in person) dislike the tobacco flavors. I guess I should step out of my bubble and try new stuff. However, I fear that if I do, I will enjoy it soo much to the point where I would have trouble to quit (smoking and vaping altogether).

SoCo... oh, I hope I hope I hope it's out there!

I was absolutely certain I'd only like the tobacco flavors. No cloying juicy-fruit/floral/dessert crud for me! I mean, I ordered some of that stuff, just for the novelty value, but I was going to spend the rest of my life with Tobacco. That lasted about 1 cartridge; the 2nd thing I vaped was Chocolate. Well, okay, I had kinda expected to like that. And the Coffee I vaped 3rd. I did not expect to even like the Vanilla I tried next, and it became my favorite for 6 whole hours (!) until I tried Spearmint, which I just knew I would hate like I do menthols, but once I tried it I swore I would love it forever, and was passionately faithful to it for at least a day. Then I slipped up and cheated with Coconut, but only because I knew Coconut would be vile and could never mean anything to me, only reset my palate to restore my appreciation of Spearmint. Just a last fling to settle the appetite for strange. Coconut and I had a very intense overnight thing, and we even had plans to slip away to Vegas together the next day, but then I met Absinthe. Absinthe is very cool and doesn't mind what else I vape as long as I come back to it every night...

Tobacco and I are still friends, though. I keep plenty of it around, because it's always been there for me and there's nothing better at helping me think through a knotty situation. It's a fine thing to have a friend you can count on that way. ;)

Does your significant other now of your affair ? :)

Mmmmm...Coconut sounds delicious right now. It sounds that you started out with the same mentality that I have right now, and it sure seems that you have a good experience. Given those circumstances, are their any tobacco flavor you could recommend to a fellow tobacco flavor junkie ?

He's pretty jealous, actually. Keeps muttering things about me staying up all night browsing juice catalogs, and about rent. *shrug* I dunno what he's on about.

Honestly, I like Volcano's stock "tobacco" flavor. But I've smoked American Spirits for the last 15 years, so I may well have no taste (buds left). Volcano's Tobacco has a kind of chocolatey taste that reminds me of the good old days when Marlboros didn't give me headaches. Mmmm, theobromine addiction...

Vapor4Life's Cowboy flavor is a smoother, chocolatier version of the same thing. For all I know, it is the same thing, just vaped off a cooler atty. I'm noticing my l88bs tend to burn all the flavor out of things - probably why Volcano and Modern Vapor's carts taste better than anything I've refilled them with. Cowboy runs $12.50 for 30 ml. I also have a sampler pack of V4L's tobacco cartomizers, but due to an unfortunate charger death I have no battery on which to test them.

I've also heard people here rave about Johnson Creek Smoke Juice, and they have a sampler in both PG and VG lines.

I'm about to go on a massive spree testing tobacco flavors for 3 people who would "only ever be interested in the tobacco flavors", so I'll let you know what I discover.

Edit to add: most of the tobacco flavors taste to me the way the brands they mimic smell unlit, in a fresh pack. Only one has reminded me of actual cigarette smoke - V4L's "Parliament" cartomizer. I'll mail it to you if you want it. Guh.

I'm actually vaping the cowboy as I am typing right now. I can't say I'm a big fan of this flavor. I hear the same thing about Johnsons Creek and was tempting to make a purchase before I decided to go for V4L RY4 and Kamels.

I will most definitely will consider Johnsons Creek and Volcano in future purposes. Thanks for your recommendations.

Give V4L's Wowboy a try in your testing spree. Its like dessert.

Saw your recommendation just in time to squeeze some into tonight's order, between the White Chocolate Covered Strawberry and the Doctor Pepper. Num...

Welcome and enjoy the ride....As far as flavors are concerned,,,,Just don't be like me and have to try every flavor out there....I don't want to even tell you how much money I have spent the first month buying juice....Now down to about 4-6 flavors that I like to vape....Works for me....But, again, trying out all the flavors was and still is kinda fun...
Enjoy....
