Congrats on being analog free. I have two Blu kits myself. I currently use a Joye 510. The Blu's are good if you can keep the e-juice from seeping out the end of the cart. I keep them handy just in case I might need a backup.
Ordered it about a week before Thanksgiving, just got it on Monday though. So far I'm enjoying the hell out of it, even if I still find myself craving an analog cigarette. That said, I really don't get the hate that I've seen directed at Blucigs. It works just fine, plenty of vapor, good throat hit, the battery life is respectable, and it was fairly cheap to get two kits.
Smoke free for 24 hours as of this post.
Sorry for all the questions, should I try a drip tip? I see they have those for these..if i understsnd correctly, I can refill using teh drip tip? Or am I off on that? Still learning!
I hope you enjoy your Blu.
It actually gives me sympathy pains whenever I see a post bashing someone else's choice because even if it isn't intended to, it somehow has the flavor of insulting the person who purchased it which makes me uncomfortable. What is a good fit for one person isn't going to cut it for another. I know there are folks who would hate the Ego for the size and look alone, even if that doesn't matter to someone else. I did research this forum before I made my purchase. In fact, I did weeks of research and I still went with Smoke Tip. I've enjoyed my ST immensely and have turned at least 4 others onto it as well and they all love it,too. While I'm open to new suggestions and expanding my aresenal of vaporizers, I have continued to repurchase batteries from ST becasue I like the KR808d1 style and theirs has performed better than a few other 808s I've purchased from other vendors and I like the service I get from them. So what if I have 3 charging on my walls or computer at any given time? So what if the batteries don't vape as long as a big cigar style? I have a car charger, wall chargers, usb chargers, a charging carrying case......so I'm always good to go. If I get stranded on a deserted island any model will give out eventually, so big deal. I like the carrying convenience of this style and it's easy to stealth vape without being noticed. So hooray for me (and you and your Blu).
edited to add: I consider myself a heavy vaper, too.
I love the flavors of blu. Pretty much all of them minus Tobacco - ick. But the batteries are just..... sadface. But I never had any atty problems. I actually liked the atty's. No burnt taste (ever) and the flavor was always very clean and strong.
Edit: about the atty problems. Has anyone thought that the problem might possibly be that the blu carts contain Johnson's creek juice? There are some known problems with their juice clogging attys (although like I said before I never once had this problem)
