Arrived in 2 days yay! :)

Was impressed by how it looks, I thought it was just a flat metal color like most batteries but it has a nice almost rubberized feel to it, very sleek. Performs very good, almost as good as my straight USB pass through.

I do have a couple issues so far. First I can't seem to get the empty cart's to hold my liquids very well... it's kind odd, the included melonica I can get about 20 drops into the empty cartridge, but my V4L peppermint, I can't seem to get more then 3-4 drops before the cart won't take anymore.

Second, after I fill a cart and prime the atty with 2-3 drops, everything works great but after about 10 puffs I start getting a burnt taste. Am I doing something wrong?

This is my first atty based cig, so any advice would be helpful.

Yeah I have an adapter coming from LiteCig so I can use my 808 carto's on it but it won't be here until next week. The blank cart's were the ones included, the filler doesn't seem overly jammed in there, but doesn't seem the liquid is flowing out from them very well.... hmmm.

Will take a look at that thread though.

Ok I think I figured out the problem, the atty's seem to be burning through liquid very quickly. I filled a cart put the foam in and everything's fine. I checked every few vapes and the liquid is staying in the cart so it's not running out into the atty or anything.

For some reason it seems to be running through liquid very quickly when I vape. *scratches head*

Try putting the carto in the bottom of the cone and then line up the cone and carto at the same time and screw them in. Also, you can help a bit by taking the sticker off the carto and/or grinding or sanding a tad off the smaller end of the cone.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too, but it just doesn't fit still. However, the cone does screw down over half way -- just won't go the rest of the way. I tried taking the paper off the cartos once and burned my lips -- won't be doing that again anytime soon, LOL. It's actually not that big of a deal, so I'll just go with the flow. I drip a lot anyway. Thanks for your suggestions bearscreek.

Well, I mostly drip when I'm at home. I just use the cartos when I'm out and about or when I'm in a wedgey mood, LOL. That's why I get the cheap ones from rrvaporz. I will say, though, that when they're fresh, they work very, very well. I rinse them out, and they're clean afterwards, but they're not really like brand new, so I store them away in case I get in a fix down the road. Also, since we don't know what the outcome will be w/the FDA, one hates to just toss stuff if it still works.

My sentiments exactly 100%. I haven't had much luck with rinsing the cartos either, but I can't throw them away. About your eGo, I guess maybe the only thing left to do would be to grind the top of the cone, but you probably don't want to do that. I think some people have actually used the eGo with the cone a little loose in order to increase air flow with the cartos, so I don't see why you can't use it loose because that's as far as it will go. :)

Xenite ... What atomizer are you using with it? LR or Standard Atomizer?

I tried both the regular and low resistance one. For some reason they just seem to burn through liquid very fast. Plus sometimes I will get the burnt taste and the filler that is still up against the atty is still moist.

I finally gave up and was just dripping 3-4 drops in at a time and vaping it that way until today when my 808 adapter came. The 808 carto's work great on it minus the cone (to tight of a fit, makes it a hard draw).

Battery life is terrific with 808 cool cart's, will try some 510's carto soon. Will just save the atty's for my DIY mix testing. :)

Actually, I screwed the cone back on. It gives a better vape that way for me. It does screw down over half way, and I can live with that fine. What does disappoint me though, was that the kit was only 6 days old when one of my brand new attys blew. Waiiii. I don't know what's up with that:confused:, because I still have attys I used w/my Joye510 (from cignot) that are still going strong from clear back from March. I e-mailed PS to ask if the attys were genuine 510's, but I think they must be closed for the weekends, as they have not gotten back to me yet. But, yep, I sure love this new eGo. Sure improves the vaping disposition, LOL.

If you were using an atty from the eGo kit and it was stainless, it was probably a low-resistance atty and I suspect they might sometimes fail faster. I know you'd need to make sure and keep them wet always. If I'm not mistaken, PS only sells true Joye stuff, or at least the standard 510s. I'm almost positive the atties with your eGo would be Joye. I hate it, but sometimes they go in 6 days easily. You just never know.
