The cart filler will start to get dingy after a couple weeks of use. You can just drop it in isopropyl alcohol for 5 minutes, set it somewhere well ventilated to dry overnight, and it's clean. You can do the same with atomizers.

And you can watch me demonstrate both those things here. It's about the 510 model, but the cleaning stuff is exactly the same with just about any model of atomizer or cart.

Listen to MistressNomad. Her videos are so informative, anyone can learn from them!

thanks for the responses guys. i tried playing with my njoy for a little bit last night and just noticed that when i opened the filter area, it was filmsy and in fact, one of the cartridges broke on me (made me quite mad so i went for a real cigarettte...) after less than a day of usage. i don't want to pull the filter too hard or else i might break it again. is there a proper way to do so?

I pull mine out with a pair of tweezers-my 7-11 still has atomizer/cartridge combos.......if the stock ones are giving you trouble though, you can buy the blanks. Anything 4081 compatible works.......got mine at azsmokefree.com, but I imagine lots of places carry them.

what are blanks?

a slightly easier way to refill the carts on the NPro is to poke a paper clip into the hole in the mouthpiece and pop the lil cup out. fill er up, drop the cup back in, tap it a couple of times on table, and vape away.

sorry i don't quite understand this. can you elaborate? i had trouble putting back the cap on because the little paper kept unrolling and couldn't stuff it back in which is part of the reason why i broke it

The NEW GP Double Deuce 22 Cartomizers For refilling I'd buy these cartomizers, they have a soft end cap thats easy to remove compared to most of the prefilled ones. Quite a few videos on youtube demostrating how to refill basically pop the end cap off squeeze in several drops of the juice of your choice, let it soak down in for a minute or so, blow through the cart from the threaded side onto a napkin to remove any excess juice, replace cap, puff away.

Hi, congrats on your decision to start vaping. I can tell you that my main vape since I started in Feb. has been an NPRO. I've liked it very much, altho the battery life sometimes isn't so hot. The only thing I can think of w/your cartridge breaking is that maybe these were old...(maybe the kit had sat a while?) I've never had that happen. I will tell you tho that NJOY/PRO is a VERY expensive company to buy from directly, so I will share w/you some tips I've learned (right here, in fact) along the way. First of all, your NPRO is the same as model # RN4081. Extremely important to know this because this "generic" model's parts are totally compatible. Everything you'll ever need...only difference is you don't have the NJOY name on it. Getting replacement stuff for the "RN4081" is WAY cheaper than official NJOY parts, and I've even found them to be more reliable than the "official" thing! The best ordering site I've found is The Better Way To Smoke. They have all you'll ever want/need and the shipping is crazy fast. They have cartomizers, but also still carry the 3 piece setup, (atomizers & new cartridges with new filler), and even in different sizes. This way you still have all the choices/different combinations of ways to vape. I wish I'd known about this the first few months I vaped cuz I could have saved a lot of $. A member also told me a while back to go to the "model-specific" subforum here and look under RN4081. You can find lots more info there, remembering this is exactly the SAME as your NJOY.
If I can be of any other help to you, ask away. NJOY is a good ecig, I think better than the Joye510 which I also have. Don't get discouraged! I thought mine didn't even work at all & was ready to return it till I found this forum and was saved! :) I also have a few carts I could pass on to you if you need them till you place an order. And no, I'm not affiliated in any way with azsmokefree. Just another NPRO user who's been learning along the way, and there's a lot to learn! But so worth it. Oh, and just so you know, there's another name for the website I told you about...it will also come up under azsmokefree. Good luck!

I just placed an order from them this past weekend, got my stuff yesterday. Good prices and quick service. One thing I will say they were out of stock on unfilled rn4081 carto's so I ordered menthol's 5 for $6.50 or so.. tasted pretty bad, and the end caps are almost as hard to get off as the official nJoy ones. The blanks they usually have are pretty easy to take apart and refill though.
