Ok so Ive tried many different types of generic e cigs and my buddy convinced me to buy an ego. After I tried his I knew I had to have one. So after a long period of debating I finally ordered one from altsmoke.com. Its just the regular joyetech eGo starter kit. I already love it. I would like to upgrade some parts in the near future I just dont know too much about these things. I would like a different battery. Something I can change between different voltages. Mine came with the the beginner 650ah battery. I know the difference between the 650,900,1000 ect but what is the difference between the eGo-c and eGo-t battery, and what is the official eGo battery I can change the voltage with. Also this setup came with two cone covered atomizers with 5 blank cartridges. I want to get away from the poly filled cartridges so would I be able to buy the eGo vision clearomizer and use that instead. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Stealyourfaced. Welcome to the ECF. If you are already comfy-cozy with doing bussiness with altsmoke the ego-c twist can be found on their site here> AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | AltSmoke.com | eGo-C Twist Battery And while you are at it, get those vision clearomizers you where specifically asking about here> AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Vision Clearomizer - Version 3 - 1.6ml Clearomizer and I advise the spare1.8ohm head option. This and the 2.8ohm head(thats included with the clearo) will allow you to find a good match in heat for your personal tastes. The vision clearo in question can also be used on your existing batteries without any issues, other than once you have the ability to adjust your vapor to your liking its kind of "roughing it" to go back to a lower voltage vape.

Your existing charging equipment will work with the twist, as well as your cones and all the other eGo gear you have right now. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

OK, so the longevity question as far as coils goes depends on how you treat them and what types of liquids you run in them. Generally thicker darker liquids tend to gunk up coils pretty quickly. Where thinner clearer liquids lead to less buildup as quickly. Cleaning is also important on these(and most all other) clearomizers. Once you begin to notice the flavor and /or vapor performance is weaker than you like its time to clean the head(coil/wick) this is easy enough to do by taking apart the clearomizer. Then rinse the head under hot water until the wicks look clean again, then apply the rinsed disassembled clearo to a battery. Then pulse power on and off until the coil begins to glow. Once you can see the individula loops of the coil glow you should be all set to reassemble your device and vape away.

Most of my personal units I can get anywhere from 12-20 days normal use from a single head. I usually clean them every few days. I vape between 7-10ml per day(very low nic). I am rough on equipment, I use them at high voltage(higher ohm heads) and I think my vape-to-breathing ratio is rather outside normal........

Thanks again! and wow 10ml a day seems like a lot guess not so much if its low nic lvl. I got a 30ml bottle and was hoping it would last me awhile.

Where can I find an ego twist. Ive been buying my stuff on altsmoke. I like working with them. plus when ever I see eGo-t I think eGo tank system.
There's actually 2 different types of eGo tanks. Well, 2 types that are officially made by JoyeTech.
eGo-T: Comes in Type A(smaller) and Type B(larger). Both types have the atty integrated into the housing
eGo-C: Comes in Type A(smaller) and Type B(larger) as well. The C version does not have the atty built into the housing, allowing you to change out the atty should it break or you just want a fresh one. I should also note that while the links for the C types show a housing/atty kit, the atty's are not proprietary. In fact, you can use those atty's for Type A, Type B and even Joye's eRoll e-cig

As for differences between the eGo-C and eGo-T batteries, not much beyond how they operate
eGo-T batteries are pretty much your basic "on/off" battery, no VV, no VW, just turn it on to use, turn it off for putting in your pocket.
eGo-C batteries are essentially the VV versions. The C-Upgrade lets you change between the standard regulated 3.3v or to unregulated, which is whatever voltage the battery can kick out at the time(3.7v to 3.3v). The C-Twist lets you change the regulated voltage from 3.2/3.3v up to 4.8v(C-Twist is probably what you're looking for)

So, done shoving my nose in with my 2 bits. Good luck Steal :)

I'm new to vaping also and I started out with an ego 650 with a vivi nova tank. The next purchase I made was an ego 1100 twist and a second stv nova tank so I could vary my voltage and also have a clear view of the amount of liquid when refilling. I love my twist so far and will be buying another one come payday. I think I also want to try the Kanger MT3 's next since they have good reviews and still have a window.
