joy 510 from cignot. i've been puffing on one of the marl high carts that came with it. not bad really, i could get used to it. i have some questions about vaping amounts though, by this i mean how much is everyone vaping per session? if it is comparable to a cigarette (which, i have no clue if it is) do you just pull about 6 times then stop for about an hour? i guess its just awkward for me to change to a completely different way of getting nicotine.

When I first got mine, I was vaping nonstop until my battery would lose it's power. After a couple of days you should be able to determine when you get your nicotine fix. Sometimes I can just take a couple of puffs and not even think about for an hour of two.
Yup, same here. I found my nic fix after bout 10 puffs but found that I really enjoyed the flavors and felt i was getting to much nic. So l ordered 0 nic juices to vape throughout the day & only vape nic juice first thing in the mornings, after lunch and when stressed.

I still haven't tried zero nic liquid as I am afraid that I will not like it. Can you really tell the difference?
Yup you can tell the difference, I get no throat hit with 0mg unless it has menthol in it. Throat is only important to me at the certain times I specified in my previous post other than that is 0mg all day.
I also hear some people talk about mixing vodka with it to get the throat hit but I've never tried that.

I've been lowering the nic levels each time I mix a batch of juice (yeah, I mix my own. I have more control that way). I make up for the lowered nic by adding alcohol. I use everclear. I am currently putting in about 5 drops per 10 ml.

I've noticed over the last month or so that my vaping is very different than my analog smoking ever was. I used to have a cigarette, then force myself to wait an hour or so to have another. It never seemed I got the nicotine I needed, or craved. Now that I have been vaping for this last month, I definately vape more than I ever did smoking. I think this is partially that I no longer have the guilty feeling of analogs...ie I am killing myself, and those around me. But the main difference, is how often. I find myself now taking 3 to 4 puffs of vapor every 20 minutes or so. Now instead of waiting and craving, I have a constant flow of nicotine into my system. The amount of vaping does increase when I am in the car, but I have been slowly introducing myself to lower nico levels while driving. I have tried the zero nicotine, but I found no throat hit, but with the green apple juice mix it does come back. The only problem with this is that I have to drip while using it, and I hate having to do that while driving (rushing to open the bottle and get in a few drips before the light changes). I have some cartomizers that I have now emptied through use, and will probably start filling these with the 0 nic/apple mix for use in the car. I tried the alcohol mix, used bicardi 101, but it left a very disgusting sour taste in the mix after a few days. I was not too pleased because it got to the point that I could not vape it anymore and had to throw the whole mix away. I tried adding more flavor, more pg, more vg, but nothing got rid of that flavor. Before the flavor changed however, the throat hit did increase with this method, so maybe smaller 5ml mixes would be better, wouldn't sit as long and have the chance to go sour.

My observation is that vaping IS different than smoking in that a cigarette burns up and that's how you know when your done with it. A PV will go until the battery dies out so it's duration is less defined. I think that's why I seem to vape more than I used to smoke. There's no .... to tell me that I'm done. Good thing these things aren't full of toxins too. I'd be dead by now. :)
