Just got my first order, Blank cartomizer question(s)

I got my order today, I'm so excited! No real complaints, other than the LEDs don't match.. (one blue, one yellow) but really.. who cares? I don't like yellow so I'll probably play with putting a crystal on it or put a piece of tape over it for stealth vaping or something.

Anywho, I ordered a couple boxes of Coolcart blanks with the Ultimate ultimatum manual kit and I'm a little confused. I watched a few videos about how to refill carts, and specifically filling blank carts. So in the videos they all had six pieces to the cartomizer.

The actual cartomizer, two silicon covers (condoms?), a plug for the screw on end (buttplug), an inner silicon gasket, and then the outer mouthpiece ring.

I opened up a blank to fill it with some juice I already have, I took it apart and I notice there was no 'buttplug' and there wasn't an inner silicone ring. A) why is that, B) the pack of prefilled cartomizers (which I probably won't really use other than to try them) that came with the kit had all the parts, should I keep the plug and inner ring to use with my blanks or does it matter? Thanks

Hi, and if you look at the condoms the .... plug is built in on the cool carts condoms, the inner ring does not come in the cool carts, there is no need for it
Just fill and put it back together and you should be good to go!

Just fill and put it back together and you should be good to go!

I took a closer second look and noticed the piece on the mouth end was thicker than the prefilled, and I did notice there was a bit of stopper at the bottom of the bottom condom.

And thanks for the tip about the filling video.

So far I'm really happy with everything, I can tell a big difference in how much flavor is in the vapor compared to what I was using previously.

I just got my first blanks today as well. Had some Johnson Creek smoke juice to fill with and I'm dripping away. Do I really have to let it sit over night??? Totally jonesin to try them out! I put 2 eyedroppers worth in my first cart and didn't notice any not absorbing - should I add more or have I already maxed it do you think?

As for that filling video, I started out using that method thinking it seemed so much easier, and I wound up finding it to be much messier and a pain in the ..... I just remove the little endcap (the rubber piece with the hole in it) with a safety pin and drip liquid around the sides of the cartomizer onto the filler while rotating it, like you're pouring a beer and rotating the glass. Just keep dripping until the liquid is no longer being absorbed into the filler. Check to make sure there isn't excess liquid in the hole in the center of the carto (hold it up and look at a light through the hole...you'll be able to see if there's excess...even if you use the condom filling method, you're gonna want to make sure there isn't excess). If there is, gently blow through the mouth end and it will come out of the battery end. You can blow it out onto a napkin/paper towel/tissue, or if you're conserving, blow the liquid into a carto condom and use it next time you fill.

It really depends on the type of carto how much liquid you can get in it. I don't even measure it. I just keep dripping onto the filler until it stops being absorbed and starts to puddle on top a little bit. Then I blow out any excess that got in the hole.
No, you don't have to let it sit overnight.

OH! And I might add to both those replies: Be sure you clean the battery end of the carto thoroughly if you blow excess juice out of it. You don't want that getting into your battery.

Cappy4 - Never heard that you let it sit overnight. ??? Just keep adding one drop at a time until the liquid starts to pool and does not absorb. Dab the excess with a paper towel and your good to go. No need to JONES!!!

I keep mine so I can put them on when I store them so the juice cartomizer doesn't dry out as quickly.

This may be slightly off topic BUT since I started the thread, and I mentioned I just got my kit today, AND I'm kinda drunk tired (not really drunk, just feels that way) I think I should get a little pass on this.
