That could be your problem right there; ("90Watts") The Coil might not be able to handle that amount of power without burnt hits Try dialing it back to about 75 or 65

the quad states up to 140 (the cuboid dousn't let it go that far) but one of the guys in my fav store uses it constantly at 130 (probs 50/50 juice) shouldnt be a problem
people new to the tfv4 generally underestimate how much juice they are using, +1 fo the try less nic ;p

I'm not exactly where you are with your setup, but close. I am using Cuttwood Boss Reserve 3mg nic in a TFV4 mini on a Lavabox DNA200, but using the titanium coil at 520° and 68W. That is giving me a very nice and smooth vape if you want to give that a try. That was my first venture with titanium and Cuttwood juice, but good enough I haven't made any change. Other then that, I concur with lowering the watts to 70 or so first and if that doesn't do it, cutting down a bit on the nic. Good luck!

Well this got me thinking
Stopped at my local B&m just bought a TFV4 but running the sextuple coil. Ran it up to 100w on my Cuboid & my XCube 2 I am running consistently back at 70w crowns I run 50-55 I only run 3mg but do not notice any difference in a troat hit not sure the flavor is much better then my Crown tanks maybe slightly. Will continue With the TFV4 & see how it goes

Ok I decided to run the TFV4 @ 90w replaced the Drip with my Crown drip tip (don't like the feel of the Smok air flow at 1/2 to full open. I am running my DIY both Vanilla Ice cream & Tropical fruit. I was running the tropical fruit last night no throat hit. running the Vanilla this AM on the Smok X Cube II on Norm setting after about 20 min I was getting a fairly good throat hit. I improved the "harshness" by decreasing the wattage 60-70 on norm setting or 70-80W & changing the X Cube to soft setting. My feeling now is it also could be the flavoring of your juice lower your wattage & try it. It will be a cooler vape than you like but may indicate whether it is your Nic, Pg or your flavoring

Yup done with The TFV4 giving it away
3 tanks though it & throat hit is back at 65w with Tropical blend & now feels like I have a chest cold just produces to much vapor for me & I think this maybe the issue you are having
I would try a different tank with same juice & see what happens
