Been vaping for 6 weeks today and my new provari V2 came in the mail today. It is awesome. I wish I would of saved all the money on ego c's and twist's and went directly to this APV. I know when someone asks what to get in a post, someone always suggest skipping the non sense and getting a provari from the get go. Now even though people bash those who suggest it, I couldnt agree more. I dont think I can be considered a provari fanboy since i have only been using it for a day but I really want to tell all my other noobs out there who are wanting to get into the VV APV game to go ahead and spend the money to do it right from the beginning, especially if vaping is a hobby you plan on doing in the long term and want to stay off the stinkies.

Onto the device itself now, It is truely built to last. Solid with good weight. It is so much smaller than I imagined. The menus and ability to change the different options is a breeze. The thing is SEXY. I am running a vivi nova on it at the moment. Deciding wether or not on getting into the rebuildable attys or not, not sure where to begin with those yet but satisfied at the moment. I appreciate all the knowledge i have been able to obtain in my short time in the vaping world. Thanks to all the ECF members.

Just got mine in today too! Hasn't really left my hand since I opened the package...I think I'm in love...

I agree with you on wishing I had skipped a few steps, but all in all no regrets -- no way I would appreciate it as much as I do if I didn't go through the steps with a kr808d, the kgo, the twist etc...

Like you, I stepped up to the Provari relatively quickly -- made the switch to vaping about 5 weeks ago (today is my 1 month no smoking anniversary! i think the vape mail gods knew...) -- I think we are the lucky ones; I was on the verge of throwing certain elements of my kit out the window recently...

Not like I would know, having owned the thing for all of 6 hours, but I have a feeling me and the provari have a future together...first mod -- first times a charm! congrats!

Congratulations! I did the same thing as you guys. Started vaping with a silver bullet PV and realized I loved it ... so three weeks into it i got the provari v2 with a sexy blue display . Couldn't be happier. Next mod for me will be the Ihybrid. But I need to let my wallet get a little thicker. Ha this new hobby is making me brook ! Congrats again and welcome to ECF!

Yeah... the whole "you know, its actually cheaper than smoking" is something I tell people when I'm trying to get them to make the switch...patently false

(i get that once you get your setup nailed down, know your juice well enough to buy 100ml bottles or even better DIY, and get a solid RBA that you could, at some point, see your initial outlay costs balance out...but even if I were to get to that point, I'd still be wanting new toys!)

I just tell myself: if this is what it costs to not smoke, its worth it.

I agree completely. I could save money and just stick with my current set ups ... (which are completely satisfying ) but then I see other bigger and badder toys that I must get ! Haha I just look at it as a new hobby... not just a way to stay off the stinkys / hookah. So that helps justify the means

..I just look at it as a new hobby...

such a fun hobby -- I get into hobby's, i really do, and random ones at that...before i started vaping my hobby of the moment was building gundam model kits (google it)...i know, im a grown ... man, i know, embarassing...but i pretty much stopped buying them when i started vaping cause i could only have one expensive geek hobby at a time (yes, vaping gets super geeky -- pretty much why i love it...i try telling my friends about the new LR atty i got and how it rocks at 3.7 volts with some 70/30 vg/pg and they are like...dude...you are such a dork...but we're glad you aren't smoking cigarettes) anyway, i look up at my shelf with the gundam and now all i see is "man i coulda bought so many mods instead of these"...hopefully this 'hobby' is one that sticks around for me

So true, now it's time to drop the Vivi Nova non sense and start rebuilding coils either in a Genesis atty, a Penelope or a RBA carto (GP Spheroid, VST Steam Machine, etc).

Haha. Smart lady. I'm loosing sleep because all these dang game releases. Ac3 , borderlands, dishonored , resident evil 6, and now black ops 2 ! Sheesh. Still debating if I want halo 4
