I also want a Provari. I'm prety hard on my ego batts though and cant see leaving the house with a $200 setup. I ALWAYS have 2 ecigs on me and if i loose one Im only out maybe $30. Not sure if I'm going mini or normal yet.
I can see your point about losing a Provari, but if you are concerned about breaking it, I'd be more concerned about it breaking something else when you drop it.

There are several stories here on the forum of incidents that owners have put their Provari's through and the Provari has survived with nary a scratch. I've dropped my own from my lap onto the driveway when getting out of my car a few times. Another person shared that theirs fell off a one story ledge onto concrete. One guy laid his on a dump truck's tire and forgot about it, and it survived being run over by the truck. They have been dunked in coffee and a swimming pool, survived an entire washing machine cycle while being forgotten in a pants pocket. Fallen from a speeding motorcycle onto the highway. One guy lost his in a river while hiking for an entire day, and later found it. In every instance, the Provari has survived. This is one well-built durable personal vaporizer.

I used to use 19mm IBTanked caps and XL tubes with SmokTech cartomizers - they looked great on my Provari. I've been getting in to mechs, so I've moved to 22mm tanks and I've moved from cartomizers to submersible rebuildable atomizers like the Killer, Terminator, and the Diver (my favorite). I don't take my mechs out of the house, so I usually bring a kicked Bolt or my Provari with me to work and such. The 22mm tanks don't look as nice on the Provari, but that's fine with me - it's my go to, no hassle, and dependable PV. I'd like to get a Hippo to better fit my 22mm tanks, but I'd need it in chrome to match my Provari and I don't believe they make them (certainly not new since Provape no longer makes polished chrome Provaris). Aside from my Kicks, my Provari is the only variable anything device that I have and I really have no interest in any other.

I got my ProVari a few days ago. I just love it. I carry a man purse so toting it around isnt much of a problem. I have a lanyard for it if I am going out. With the extended cap and 18650 battery is a lot of device to carry in front pocket and chance dropping it. I will probably order a regular size battery for it when going out just to cut down on length. Overall, I am very pleased with purchase. The ohm meter function since i rebuild my own addys comings in very very handy. Much easier than messing with ohm meter. If it can fit into your budget, you will be very happy. Perfect vape every time.

You have to be careful using a lanyard. If you move too quickly the ProVari can swing around and break a rib.
