Just got my Reo, not firing

Hello,

I just got my Reo and reomizer. I think I followed the correct steps in building the coil and the wick but it doesn't seem to work.
batteries are charged (18650) but no firing or vaping is happening.
Did I do something wrong?

Do you have something to meter the coil with to see if it has a short? or a mod that will show the resistance?

I have a multimeter. I'll google how to use a multimeter on this reomizer.

Should be able to touch it to the screws on each side to get a ohm reading. That will tell you if something is wrong with your build.

getting 2.0 Ohms when touching the top of the screw head

Is the firing button turned to the locked position ? Try turning it all the way to the left...

Well it isn't your build. Have you tried another atty or carto on it?

Am i not tightening the reomizer all the way? if you can see the pictures, I do have some room between the Reomizer and the grand

I can't answer that as I do not have a RM2 yet. But least we know where the problem is now


EDIT: I would tighten it down till it feels like it starts to tighten

That coil looks fine.(nice build too) I think Shelbee knows her shi t. Her suggestions are spot on. You can snug the RBA down pretty good, just don't go crazy on it.

Im going to go try to rebuild my coil. Thanks everyone for their suggestions.

I did a quick continuity test between the 2 posts, gettings about 2.5 ohms, one post to the reomizer ohms reads 0, other post to the side wall of the reomizer reads about 7 ohms...

Well maybe it is your coil lol

rebuilt the coil with 2.2 ohms, still nothing.
Don't know if this means anything but even tried the reomizer on my spinner, nothing.

Well I am stumped at this point. Someone that has one maybe able to assist from here. Sorry, I am sure someone will chime in soon

Maybe try screwing the posts of the Reomizer in a little tighter. I remember somewhere Rob said they screw in.....maybe they're just not quite right. Can you screw them at all?

Actually, if the Grand fires a carto, that's good. At least we know it's not the REO.....that the problem is in the Reomizer, probably.

I tried screwing in the posts tigher, broke the coil my first attempt.
I got it snug to the point that it might break the coil if I tighten it further.

Undo the coil, tighten the posts, and start over.
