I use mine as soon as light is green. have for 2 years now. no problems.. they are still going,,
When the light turns green, I don't even think it allows for any current to be passed to the battery any more. If that's the case, then there is literally no point in keeping it on the charger.
Just ordered mine this morning, when did you order and when did you get it?

I ordered last wednesday and it arrived today. I was using a mini (cig sized) 510, and holy cow the difference is like night and day!!!! With the 510 I was taking long 5 second drags to get a decent puff but with the riva I only need 1-2 seconds and the vapor feels warmer. Also I have a few juices that taste pretty weak with my 510, but I can really taste them on my riva! The express shipping is 3-5 days and not counting the weekend mine took 4. You're gonna love it! What are you using now? or is this your first PV?
Im using a KR-808, just seems a little weak in performance that why I was stepping up to the Riva. Now I cant wait!!!! It seems like we were bothing looking for the same thing!

If you like switching flavours cartos are great. Preload 2 or 3 and just swap them on your ego when you feel like a different flavour. Though I often carry 2 complete units cause I am lazy.

Per L-F when I called to ask: You no longer need to charge upon arrival. They are good to go. The instructions are from the MFG in China. It is old and has not been revised as needed.
Hi Battery technology has improved but directions in manuals haven't. All the experts tell you that once the light is green the battery is ready. In fact most of them come with enough charge to use it right out of the box. Good luck

Actually I put one on the charger an tried to take a puff with the other one but it was completely dead! But after about 2 hours on the charger it's been going for about 5 hours, hasn't died yet!
I checked the status of my Riva order thru Liberty Flight and it still shows it not being shipped out - Shows open with no ship date or information. They called the day I placed my order and said it would go out Wednesday. I'm going to have to cancel if they cant get an order out after 2 days. Oh well I had high hopes of having this by the weekend. First order with Liberty Flights and I am not impressed with the shipping or the fact that at any hour of the day no one answers the phone. So disappointed, cheap prices are not worth the unreliability.
Hmm, I think the day after I ordered I got a shipping confirmation e-mail. I have heard that Vapercon is going on right now so maybe they're a bit behind? Just something to keep in mind.

I've ordered 6 or 8 (Lost count) Riva's from LF in the past year and it seems one time they ship really fast but next time take a couple of days to actually ship. I would guess it would depend on how many orders they receive in a day.
