This thing is amazing. Why didn't you talk me into it sooner? Kidding. About the sooner part, that is. I even took a battery out before it died to toss on the charger. Never had to do that with my Alpha. I could always feel the drop-off on the 14500's, but these 18650's don't seem to die.

Of course that could be because I went with the 3100mAh batteries.

I'm glad that I got this before everyone started going crazy about cutting extra vent holes into things.

Congrats. I have had a BB for a couple years now and it scares me how well it's held up. I keep thinking that the switch should be failing, since I'm sure I have well over 350,000 cycles on it.

What kind of batteries did you get. I got a couple of the AW IC 14500 750mah the other day. I forgot how long a fresh battery really lasts! I'm going 4 hours before I taste any dropoff at all.

I guess I'll have to get an SB on the used market, cause I'm not buying all that paranoia about vent holes. I like the fact that I don't get crap in the battery compartment.
