Setup: 28 gauge, 10 wraps, 2mm, 1.4ohm, boiled cotton.
Version: 1.5mm air tube version, no need to mod, unlike the 1.2mm airtube version which you need to pull out to become 1.8mm hole, which might be too airy for some, 1.5mm is perfect for me.

Pros:
1) Very easy to set up within minutes using cotton.
2) Crazy amount of thick cool vapour, which can pile on non-stop with deepest flavour I've never from tasted before, even better than my rebuilt mini Protank 3.
3) Super quiet vape, zero cracking sound, while pumping huge clouds, eerie heavenly feeling.
4) Real deal chain-vaping monster with good base insulation. In fact, the base is so well insulated, its even cooler than using my NR-R-NR coil setup for the protank 2/3 even after long chain vaping.
5) Highly versatile, can set up in many config, dual coil, vertical coil, even filler wick/chamber style (haven tried yet).

Cons:
1) For some users who prefer to use steel mesh/silica combo, it will be nightmarish to get it right.
2) Huge and heavy (but can change to many aftermarket poly/nano tanks which can reduce weight tremendously)
3) Too many pros, overly addictive, can't wait to get back home to activate the monster.
4) Don't understand why some users can't set it up right. Could be they forgot to pull the bottom chamber up (Duh!) to align with top tube which causes gurgling/leakage. In fact the set-up is super easy, even faster than Protank/Evod etc.

Not sure whether should try sub-ohm as the vapour production is already relatively excessive for me at 1.4ohm. For those who tried, along with various coil mods such as dual coil, vertical coil etc, pls share your experience.

The taifun produce a good vape.
Things to note.
The base is press fitted. Do not drop it. My clone base came apart after a drop from my desk.

Do not unscrew the positive post all the way. The screw traps a washer. If washer is not in place it will block air hole.

Trick to prevent leaks and gurgle is to plug up the sides with a little extra cotton.

Want more flavor? Add a thin strip of cotton over your coil.

My favourite atty :) Current setups are all micro coils + cotton. Provari running 1.4ohms @ 4.2 volts with 28g, the other two are on mechs running at around 0.8ohms one with 28g and the other 26g. I forget the number of wraps on each but coil diameters vary from 2 to 3mm. Have found the best wicking for me is to cut the cotton diagonally so that it protrudes at the bottom without touching the side of the tank and the top is inside the chamber, just so its not pinched when you screw the top of the chamber on (if that makes sense).
