So my VAMO I bought from vaporbreak came in yesterday, I had it sent to my work and was off. I opened the box this morning and there it was. The stainless steel VAMO! It looks great, the buttons are nice and they match. The threads on this thing are wonderful, much better than i expected. After reading reviews from vaporbreak I feel like I'm one of the lucky ones who got their VAMO through VB.

As a fellow owner of a Stainless Steel V3 Vamo, I must say, this is such a low priced product for what you get.

The buttons are tactile and firm, and threads are all smooth, you can screw on any delivery device you like, in its stock form it can accept a bunch of different battery configs(Mini Mode, Large Mode, Stacked Mode), Its RMS only, the OLED screen is clear and classy, the Menu is easy to navigate, and the power ranges provide more power than you'd ever need.

For around 50bucks, its just a hell of a bargain.

Yeah, I forgot to mention it's the V2. $44 and some change shipped with two batteries and a charger. For some reason i still think I should have gotten the K100 mech. I'll get one soon though. That is after I find an apartment. All in all I'm very happy with my vaporbreak experience. Shipping was like, 12 days to Nashville TN. Oh, and why is RMS mode more preferred? It does hit harder in AVG or no1. I'm still kinda new in the vaping world.

Agree, good choice. The Vamo is a very solid device for the money. Excellent build quality and very functional as a VV/VW in various battery configurations. I use it quite a bit, especially for measuring battery levels and coil resistance. I also use it for normal resistance (1.2Ohm+) atomisers.

I just got mine up and running again! after about 3 months and its 5th hucks to the wall, its top fell off and the wires ripped. Nothing a little solder didn't fix. it can take a beating is all I can say.
That's good to know. I'm a mechanic and was the only smoker. So i definitely need something atleast as durable my ego. I don't have it on me all the time, I dropped my ego once with a kanger T2 on it and it cracked the tank at the very bottom. It still works fine and everything, it just leaks a bit if i leave it in my car all day. I am loving this mod.

I got the SS Vamo V3 from fasttech and so far I am really happy with it. Everyone I have seen post hates the look of the grooves in it. I actually like them. I suppose I am strange.

I don't have any problem with the V3 swirls.. I think the initial disgust from most people was that it was totally chromed out, with bedazzled fake diamonds around the top ring. I think it really threw people off but in the brushed stainless option it's perfectly fine by me.

I received mine (v2 stainless) on Monday from FastTech and I'm loving it. It vapes great. My only complaint: I's huge and heavy! But I can deal with that because it works so wonderfully! Welcome to VAMO world.

Try to run it with a 18350 battery, its lighter. I hate running my V2 in the stacked mode.

The difference between RMS and Mean (avg) and why it is generally preferred.

@ Lorrie I usually use 18650 and they will last me about 2 days of what I consider moderate to heavy vaping. I have also used 18350 batts and they will last about 1 day for me. So my best guesstimate would be if your getting about 2 days with an 18650 then an 18350 should last you about a day. Of course if you get 2 18350s then you could have 1 charging while using the other. The smaller 18350 does make a huge difference in the size and weight of the vamo, imo.

I had that happen on the vamo with a t2. took a tumble of the coffee table, cracked the t2. I mainly use a carto tank now and its made of polypropylene. It's a softer stronger plastic

There are advantages, depending on how you vape, with using two 18350 batteries in the Vamo. With one 18650 battery, the maximum watts is about 11. To reach above that you need the two 18350's due to how the ciruitry works. For many it's not an issue either way, but if you use dual coil cartos or attys, you will need the extra power. The two 18350's also provide a longer vaping time.

Congrats on the Vamo. After using ego-c twists for 9 months i finally decided on a Vamo after reading PBusardi's voltage dropoff charts of all the different batts. It made perfect sense as to why i wasnt getting consistent flavor/vape out of my new Protank. (used 2 different versions of Vivi Novas that whole time) The protank and the Vamo are an Excellent combo in my opinion. All the little issues i had over that timeframe went away. I was contemplating a Provari but thought id go the Vamo route to save money. I kinda just go with what works and stick with it. 200 vs 50 was more appealing to me and the Vamo does exactly what i want it to. Provide a consistent vape from start to finish.

I say to each his/her own on the whole watts/volts thing. i run mine in volts mode cuz i bounce up and down from 3.7 to 4v, even on the same tank of the same juice. Depends on what im wanting at that moment of a hit.

I tried running mine with the smaller 350 but it was just too small for big gorilla hands, lol. i like where the button is in the longer 650 mode. Its right at my thumb or forefinger if its facing the opposite direction.
