Well, my Volt is about 15 minutes old & so far, so good

I got the 78mm battery, so a bit longer than the Blu I've been using, but that's an easy adjustment.

15-minute impressions: NICE, easy draw, great hit, good vapor - this Ice Menthol (18mg) is knocking my socks off, in a good way. Ordered some blank cartos as an afterthought, so they won't be here for another day or two, but anxious to start filling w/my newly-acquired juices from JC.

And of course I'm finding the purple LED light quite fun because, well, it's purple, folks!

Nice! I just got my Volt X2, I'm loving it, with a clearomizer on top so I always know how much juice I have left, it's pretty great!

Smokeless Image has a thread on here where if you post a picture of your face with their product, they'll send you a free pack or cartomizers, a free battery or a free something else(I can't remember what:p).
you should check it out!

That's right - I forgot about that! Thanks for the reminder! Maybe a clearomizer will be my next step - who knows!?

if you vape a lot at once( or like me, everyone wants to try your pv everytime you go out :p) i would definitely say try a clearomizer. The ones from SI would work with your batter, they just wouldn't line up flush, so they would look odd; but that doesn't really matter if you're just at your house or something :p IMHO it doesn't even look bad when you put a clearo on a small 808 battery, it's just personal preference. They're great though, it's soooo much easier to see how much liquid you've used and when you need to refill, it takes all the guesswork out

Waiting for mine to arrive. I ordered purple led too. I'm jealous right now...

Hope yours arrives very soon! I almost tackled the mailman yesterday. I did discover that my second battery (thankfully the blue one & not the purple LED - LOL) is defective (it lights up, but does not work & the charger does not recognize it). I emailed SI late last night & this morning I got an e-mail apologizing for the defect & informing me that they had shipped another one out - very pleased with their customer service thus far. Can't wait to hear what you think of yours!

I can definitely see myself trying a clearomizer eventually - I'll have to look on SI's website as I haven't really done any research on them yet. Like you said, I'm already seeing that there could be a big benefit in eliminating the guesswork, popping caps off to see if cartos look 'dry' etc. I don't care much about them looking a little odd, as I work from home/ homeschool my kids & so basically I don't get out much! If I'm out & about, though, I'd prob stick to something that looked a little more cig-like as I'm not one to draw attention to myself ;) Silly question - how long does a clearomizer last?

I don't know if I vape a lot or not....I screwed on carto #1 (ice menthol) yesterday when I received my Volt, and by late last night it seemed a little weak, so I dripped in a little Wisconsin Frost (JC).
I can see myself going through maybe 2 cartos a day - not sure how that compares to others' usage?

Anxiously awaiting my SI orderS.
Giving up on the Blu after the original and now premium 100, which is a lot better but still mediocre. Started refilling my blu, which helped - but ready for something else.

I think I'll be happy...I know it's a lot of stuff, but sharing w/ my ladyfriend.

- X2 automatic black 900mah
- clear clearomizer
- 78mm silver w/ orange led, black w green led
- 10 blank stainless XL cartos
- 2 diamond tips - what can I say I likes the bling
- pcc
- 10x color caps
- 2x usb charger

When I'm "verified" I'll be dropping all of my blu stuff for little cash on the classifieds.

Did I go overboard? Also spent a bit of cash on juice in the last few days, waiting for it to arrive...some vaporite, some virgin juice.

With buying American Spirits at $6 a pack every other day though...this will eventually more than pay for itself I'm sure.

I've been going back and forth between wanting the volt and the smoov. I have pretty much everything between a 650 ego and the provari and my favorite is my twist HOWEVER... I'd like something small and light weight to take to the clubs or when i travel that can keep up with me. I vape quite a bit and heard great reviews on both the volt and the smoov so I'm completely torn. I love the set up i've seen in Phil's and Grimms reviews and know that I want the 78mm battery... any advice? Has anyone tried both? Other recommendations perhaps?

I REALLY like my Volt stuff, and the customer service CAN NOT BE BEAT! They are the best company I've ever dealt with, for any kind of product, not just e-cigs. I've tried the smoov, and its very similar, but I went with the Volt at first, and I have a certain amount of brand loyalty. My 78's lasted a little over 8 months each before needing replacement, which i am told is about average for heavy use, and I only had two in the rotation at the time.
