Just checked my halo USB chargers and they are 5V and 150 mAh as well

Wtf. I've seriously had it with SI and Halo. If this is wrong I'm going to be making some angry phone calls today

Is this a play to decrease battery lifespan and get you to buy more of their gear?

I wouldn't think that's it, my Volt batteries are 8 months old and I only charge them with the Volt charger.

I'm very much of the same opinion there Kemosabe, which is why I get confused when I see questions like this asked. Morandir responded to it the next post down, but I'm thinking he must have missed the voltage of the Volt charger.

I have posted another question regarding chargers on that other thread, I am hoping someone can give me some peace of mind and tell me whether or not I'm going to blow up a batt or start my house on fire. ..... Morandir sir?

I use the Volt charger with the Volt batteries. I use an Ego charger with an Ego battery. If I had a
V4L battery I would use it with a V4L charger. To the best of my knowledge there has never been a report of any problems which makes it safer than two of my cars and a laptop. I've been using the same three batteries since 8/11 and they still perform like new. Many other users report the same experience. Until someone comes up with some kind of documented evidence to the contrary other than an opinion based on micro analysis of specs I find their track record to be anything but sloppy.
