Just got my WL order and have a question before starting.

My WL order just arrived. YAY!

I ordered 18mg 100%VG and a few flavors.
Based on what I've ordered from retailers VG juices I figured it would be perfect. (My wife has issues with PG, so I don't want to use PG at all)

WOW, this stuff is THICK!

Question:
Distilled water or vodka? I have both.

Looking for long term effects on the liquid (if any).
Does one or the other even matter? Does one go better with certain flavors?

I've done a few searches, and mostly got threads with "I use DW" or "I use vodka". Not too helpful.
A thread somewhere stated 1-2%, but would that be true of both? I would think the vodka would thin more effectively.

Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, this got bumped down quickly...

Whichever really.

I know a well respected VG only DIY'er says that water+flavoring=22% max. (So if you had 10% flavoring you'd use 12% water.)
But vodka (I'd use PGA instead, but that's because I don't have vodka) thins more with less.

Experiment to find what looks right for your stuff. Some flavorings thin juice better than others too so anything given as a hard and fast rule is just one person's opinion for their mixes.

Make 2 small "test" batches, one with dw and the other with PGA. Mix, vape. Use what method is best for your equipment.

Read Hoosier's blog (the small 3 under his picture) before you do anything. PGA should give you more throat hit and DW should give you less. I use 20PG/80VG all the time so you shouldn't have to use much dilutent

Well, with all the patience I posses, I mixed up 9ml of VG with 1ml of water & 1ml of marshmallow.
I forgot to order small bottles, so I filled an empty and I'm letting it "rest".
It looks right as far as thickness, but I've yet to try it.
