Her there everyone. Just got myself a JoyeTech eGo One XL and a handful of juices some 50/50 Vg/Pg 12mg Clove and Strawberry Kiwi and 6mg Menthol "Twist" (Lemon-Lime) and an 80/20 0mg Orange Creamsicle. I've played around with mixed flavors between them and trying out the 1.0 and 0.5 ohm coils. When I'm out and about I'll run the 1.0 at home is the 0.5.

The vaping community seems mostly a great crowd. I'm glad to be a part of it.

Let me know how long you've been at it and what you're vaping on and with.

Fairly new vaper, I've been vaping for . . . about four months, and I'd say about three on my current machine which is a Joyetech Evic.

I've recently become addicted to mad scientist vapor but I actually have a cheaper juice in right now that I got on a site that allows you to mix your own. It's supposed to be Dr. Pepper but it tastes kinda like a cream soda, not root-beer-ish just . . . creamy but I have a feeling that's my fault for adding in vanilla to it and thinking it wouldn't overpower it.

Absolutely luv vaping and the people on the forums are for the most part, very nice. :)

Don't know what part of Ohio you're in but here in Northern KY vaping is still a not well known thing. We have vape stores but the only vape people I see are in the stores. I keep hoping it's going to become a bigger thing in this area.

Hey there and welcome to the vaping family here. The folks here are awesome and will help with anything you need help with. Be interested to know how you like that Ego one thus far? I have been off cigs and vaping for almost two years and change and I love it much more then I ever did smoking. I have quite the family of vaping devices here on my table but currently I am happily vaping my IPV mini v2 with an El Diablo Baal RDA on top with Cosmic Charlie Slam Berry and its yummy, lol

Peace and Vape on!!:vapor:

The ego One is quite nice. It's fairly consistent but I can personally verify its easy to flood the coils. A quick teardown and clean will fix that easy enough though.

I've been vaping for two days and I tend to use the sub ohm coil more with a preference to lung hits. It will easily throw clouds if juiced right (high VG) and it will also play well with other tanks, as I've tried a knock off pro tank (1.8 Ω) on the battery and it started chugging away. Think of it as a mech with safety features and an off switch. There is no vv/vw so picking the right atty or building the right coils is still important.

The fact that it comes with the ability to configure the coils, tips, and airflow out of the box is nice. It really gives you what you need to experiment with your set up and find what works for you. Being new I've found this invaluable, I do wish that it had 2 of each coil though as a newcomer can cook the coil by an inadvertent dry hit from an empty tank (Not having the reflex to check the tank) or to have the juice level more easily visible.

My personal biggest complaint is the heat when using the sub ohm coil, the 1.0 stays warm to cool but the sub ohm gets down right hot. I don't experience the leakage issues others do. Just make sure it's all seated properly, 10 seconds more can be the difference between leaks or none.

Overall I'm very happy with my first choice and thank you all who have welcomed me.

Edit: Asked how to change Avatar, failed to notice was already posted above before asking. Duh
