The ego One is quite nice. It's fairly consistent but I can personally verify its easy to flood the coils. A quick teardown and clean will fix that easy enough though.
I've been vaping for two days and I tend to use the sub ohm coil more with a preference to lung hits. It will easily throw clouds if juiced right (high VG) and it will also play well with other tanks, as I've tried a knock off pro tank (1.8 Ω) on the battery and it started chugging away. Think of it as a mech with safety features and an off switch. There is no vv/vw so picking the right atty or building the right coils is still important.
The fact that it comes with the ability to configure the coils, tips, and airflow out of the box is nice. It really gives you what you need to experiment with your set up and find what works for you. Being new I've found this invaluable, I do wish that it had 2 of each coil though as a newcomer can cook the coil by an inadvertent dry hit from an empty tank (Not having the reflex to check the tank) or to have the juice level more easily visible.
My personal biggest complaint is the heat when using the sub ohm coil, the 1.0 stays warm to cool but the sub ohm gets down right hot. I don't experience the leakage issues others do. Just make sure it's all seated properly, 10 seconds more can be the difference between leaks or none.
Overall I'm very happy with my first choice and thank you all who have welcomed me.
