Just got the 510s..which cartomizer do i use?

Greetings all,

So I'm still new to e-cigs and was previous using a tank kit from ovale. I just got my joye 510s in the mail which are 3.3V and also some 1.6 ohm cartomizers. There are so many choices and I haven't caught up yet but these cartomizers are a lot hotter than the tank kit that I was using. Am I killing the battery with these cartos and at what ohm range should I be using? Thanks.

SLIM 510 needs to use standard resistance cartomizers (2.5 to 3 ohm, with 2.5 being the warmer end of that range and also using the charge more quickly).

The hotter low resistance aka LR (low ohms) cartomizers and atomizers below 2.5 ohms are not for slim ecigs but they can optionally be used by the fat models (like Ego and Riva 510) and mods with 450mah+ battery charge.

So no - 1.6 ohm is not to be used on a slim 510. The most popular cartomizers for slim 510 are the Boge 510 3 ohm ones, and if you could find the 2.5 ohm ones you could also use those but they are hard to find. You can find the 3 ohm ones in several colors at NiteLiteVapor.us, and check Goodprophets.com.. With slim ecig stuffing cartomizers I use PG w/ 20% or less VG (thin juices, and avoid any juices drop a lot of flavoring sediment))

Boge 2 ohm are the most popular cartos on batteries 450mah+ but are not meant to be used on slim batteries. Joye 510 has 180mah batteries. The electronics of batteries 450mah+ are designed to deal with the more intense power use of LR cartos.
