I can't stand the coughing I've recently had due to smoking and as a wind instrument player it's not helping. Yet, I like smoking and I'm not ready to quit. I bought the GreenCig GT-G300N kit from LeCig, mainly due to sense Field's reviews. It was a bit pricey, but I figured I don't mind paying a bit extra if it works well and I don't have to futz with it. Plus, if it does replace analog cigs, it'll be cheap in the long run. I hope it can replace analog cigs...

The hardest part about doing this is learning all the new terms and figuring out what to buy! Too bad it's not easier to learn all the details. I think I have a good understanding of the systems now, but it's taken a while. I've only seen one person vaping in my life and that was a week ago, so I think it's starting to catch on.

So... wish me luck! I really hope it can replace analog smoking. Any comments about my choices would be appreciated.

I certainly wish you good luck and hope that you will be successful in quitting smoking.

I am not familiar with the device you have purchased so I can't comment on that score. After my first purchase I quickly changed to an eGo as my current PV because of battery life and the availability of parts. Since neither of my purchases was a financial hardship it was just a learning step for me.

Make sure you have enough juice to get you through the time required to make another ordering cycle as running out is a bit of a drag.

Thus spoke Kufu.

Thanks for the tips! I ordered one 5-pack of cartomizers and it comes with another 4 or 5 pack. I'm trying a few flavors and strengths to see what works for me. Didn't want to buy too much of the wrong stuff either.

DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!
i loved smoking-did it for 25 years, 1-2 packs a day. i have been smoke free for almost 9 months and with NO desire to smoke analogs. i have plenty of friends who do, and i work for the Army, so needless to say, lots of folks smoke around me. i wish you good luck but you wont need it if you have the right set up. with vaping you are getting the nicotine that you are addicted to, and with the hand to mouth action of vaping, you are doing the same thing with your hands as smoking. the only difference is the lack of carcinogens and tar in your lungs, and the smell and health risks, and the taste. yes, the taste will be BETTER vaping. cigarette smoke smells horrible to me now. dont even want to taste it. i highly recommend the eGO Tank System with a 1000mah battery, and some Kick Bass Vapors jooses. it's all you need for success...oh, and this forum!

Welcome and Good luck! But if you have a good ecig it probably won't be too hard. Just FYI it took me about 7-10days anolog free for my smokers cough to go bye bye. I was a heavy heavy smoker 2 packs a day and had the cough for quite a few years. Well worth the effort and investment. Not familiar with the brand you got but if it doesn't work too well don't give up, read as much on here as you can and drink a ton of water Vaping drys you out.
