It's a problem.. Gov wants their cut. We're having issues with the FDA here as well. I DIY all my own liquids and rebuild my Attys and RBAs. If they were to ban nicotine and e-cigs tomorrow, I wouldn't have to worry about finding a new source for years.. literally.

How could they ban the equipment? You could be vaping anything. My biggest worry would be not being able to import nic into the country, that would start a huge underground network which would be bad for everyone. God knows what they would put in the stuff. There are quite a few good nic juice suppliers here but they aren't allowed to sell it with nic. There are plenty that do though, of course.

Australia has a plant that the Aborigine (I think that's the right spelling) know of that produces 5 times the nicotine that tobacco does. It grows in arid conditions. I'd source that if I were in Oz As for the ingredients: VG is used as oil in Tractors and dump trucks, the flavouring you can find in most good kitchens (food safe), and the water.. well.. Nicotine is used in all sort of applications that don't need mentioning here. Safe to say there's always another way. As for the hardware: No way they could ban it all. It's just too easy to find a power supply what give 3 to 5 volts. And heating wire.. well that's all over the place and readily available. I'm not too concerned personally

I did import a batch of premixed from Health Cabin and have used them a bit since I've only just started but this batch was held up by quarantine for weeks. Came with yellow and black tape all over it - I reckon they did everything but drink the stuff. Then I got the bill from DHL charging ME $45 for the quarantine. I was very ...... off.

I have no clue to the local laws in Oz (no disrespect to Australia, I just like the sound "Oz") I had no idea that there's such a law against that plant. I'm amazed they fined you. That's why we're fighting for our rights here in the USA. I have a rebellious streak; I'd go find an "original" Aussie and see if he could help me out Not that I'm encouraging you to do so! "Bush baccy" hehe.. Never heard that term before

Quarantine laws here are pretty fierce. (Oz is fine.) It's to keep people from bringing, mainly organic stuff here that could damage the environment. Don't think they gave a flying fig about the nicotine.

Lot's of Australians running around this forum. One in particular I occasionally chat with is CyrusVap. Now that guy knows his stuff! I know Australia can be pretty strict when they must. My wife studied there. I visited some years ago. I couldn't get over how beautiful the avian wildlife is there.

My SO (significant other) is going to the US for the first time next year with a mate. They are going to Florida and making there way up to New York. They are doing a motor racing type tour (NASCAR and the V8 super cars *yawn*) . Think it will be a three week thing and I will get him to bring me some vaping stuff back. I'll have to check out some vendors that are on their route so he can grab gear for me.

Where I live the birds are pretty magnificent. I come from Queensland, so we have lots of parrots and whatnot flying around. I do love living here but the weather can be a bit extreme (well, I suppose that is anywhere really).

Lot's of good vendors on the east coast. I visited Sydney and surrounding areas. You guys have the best fish in the world mMm.. damn.. now I'm hungry. lol I remember one time in particular (I still smoked) and went out one night onto the deck to have a cig. It was dark and I managed to catch some creature that was wandering around. I kicked it with my foot(not on purpose) and sent the little guy sliding across the deck. I could barely see it, and to this day I have no idea what kind of nocturnal animal it was...
