The ratio of PG to VG is a personal preference. More PG provides thinner juice, more flavor, maybe a little more TH depending on the flavor. More VG is thicker juice, slightly muted flavor, smooth vaping. I use 50/50 mix and try for the best of both worlds :)

Many vendors allow you to try different ratios anywhere from 0% to 100% of either. Try a few and see which you like the best.

I can't believe it....I have not smoked a cigarette since i opened up my package, figured out how to use it and started vaping. Last cigarette on Sunday morning. I am like not believing this is happening. 30 years of smoking, watching and taking care of both my beloved parents as they died of lung cancer, and here I am. I could just cry I am so happy.

That is really inspiring, hope I have the same success.. congratulations

7 days since my last cigarette and I've saved about $36.00. I put it in my savings account yesterday! I am vaping some wild cherry pepsi this morning and I am just soooo excited about my new smoke free life. I'm having the typical problems with my ego-t, leaking tanks and such, but that is not discouraging me one bit. I just deal with it and know that the reason food taste so good and smells so good is because I have not had a cigarette in 7 days! by the way, sleeping so much more soundly. Word was I coughed a lot at night in my sleep.

Howdy neighbor......glad you found ecf.......If you need help or have questions, ecf is the place to be......I love the tanks myself.......
I smoked analogs for over 40 years and was able to put them behind me without difficulty.........I am having so much fun with flavors and new mods and such......

good luck.....
I am in the eastern panhandle....are you close to there?

ps...the coughing is your body's way of getting rid of the gunk built up in your lungs from the analogs. It won't last long but will clean out your lungs, mostly. as long as it is productive, it can be a pita, but hang in there....it will go away.
:)

If you ever need juice in a hurry to avoid smoking the nasty analogs, try to pm me first.....before buying any analogs..(I always have plenty of juice on hand).lol... seriously. One of the bigest newbie mistake is not to have enuff juice to vape.....and run out before an order can arrive......Vaping is less convenient than smoking but I sure do like it a whole lot more....

Received my vaping kit. Trying out a couple flavors. Showed it to my husband who successfully quit analogs for 6 weeks and started again. We both love it! I used you tube for help on setting up and now have more questions, but actually am feeling so hopeful that the analogs can end.

welcome and congrats to both of you...there's plenty of help and info here, I wish I had found this forum sooner like many here had, when I bought my first pv and quit almost 9 months ago...things would have gone smoother had I known there were a lot more (and better) choices for PV's available.. still, it has been an enjoyable experience throughout, and I continue to vape, with the knowledge gained not long ago from someone else willing to share what he knew (and yet I quit and started vaping before he had lol)...my brother and I both bought the same pv, but he continued to smoke (his wife is also a heavy smoker lol), just quitting recently, himself...now his wife wants to try vaping to help herself quit too...:headbang::rickroll::headbang::evil:

As Rush Limbaugh listeners used to say, "mega dittos." Newbies too often buy the line of "one cartridge equals one pack of cigarettes" or the like and get way too few cartridges or too little juice.

It is wonderful of you to make your juice available to a neighbor for emergencies!

well thanks ya'll. I was worried I was buying too much juice, now I'm going to go buy me some more flavors and strengths of nicotine. 24mg is too much in the evening when I really like to vape. I love trying the different flavors...tastes so much better than those analogs I'd been smoking for over 30 years. I still have to pinch myself....i can't believe i have not smoked since I opened up that black box and loaded that tank and put it in the atomizer.

    in a cave, eh?
Good luck with your ego-T. If you have the tanks with the plastic caps, a lot of people will recommend silicone caps to help with the leaks. (I haven't tried the silicone caps, myself).

But, you might also really like the SmokTech dual coil or Boge LR cartomizers for your system instead. You might also want to add an Ego cone (optional) to slide over your cartomizers. If you're currently using the regular resistance Ego tanks, you're going to start noticing the taste of your e-liquid. :)

It has been two weeks without an analog! So that is probably for me..... two cartons of analogs not smoked! 400 cigarettes...when you do the math it is kinda scary. I have my frustration sometimes with the tanks, but that is minor compared to all the issues i see disappearing. My joints are not sore when i wake up in the morning hence I'm moving faster when I get out of bed, I'm not spitting up that disgusting phlegm as I cough and cough and cough for a while to remove that analog stuff from my lungs. I don't have that lump in my throat anymore. My chest does not feel like it has a brick on it. Oddly enough, I'm craving sugar less. I think the one thing that surprised me the most was my joints not hurting like they were. (i just thought it was old age) I can only guess that I am getting a much better nights sleep than I have been in quite a while. I AM SO GRATEFUL.
