Hello everyone I'm Oxide. :] I've been analog free for about 5 days now and been a decently heavy smoker for about 4.5 to 5 years. I recently discovered this forum a few days ago and have been really researching ecigs and the vaping community since.

I decided to give them a try and ordered my 510 early this morning and it's already shipped out. I'm excited to give it a try and explore more around on this forum. Everyone seems to be quite nice and helpful.

I'll be sure to let you guys know when my 510 gets here and how I like it. I'm also excited to get to talk to some of you who have already been vaping a while or have just started yourselves.

I also noticed there is a gaming sub-forum here. I will def be checking into that. :D

If you went cold turkey off nicotine and it's been 5 days, you're doing great. By all means give your 510 a try but if you've come this far on willpower alone, why put nicotine back in your body? Get some 0 mg nicotine juice and use that with your 510.

If you've been supplementing nicotine with gum, patches, etc., then you be the judge on what concentration of nicotine you get in your juice.

In either case, well done!

Oxide, congrats for taking your first step to cutting back or quiting analog. Noted before hand that e cig well to me any who its doesnt exactly feel like analog but its the closest to it. The action the feeling of someing going into your thoat then lungs. I can say that i do not crave for analog anymore but when I first started when i start feeling the cravings I would go out and vape on the ecig for maybe 5-10 mins though it wasnt the same but when i was done i did not have the cravings any longer. What helped me the most was not the thought was quiting cold turkey it and analog was a no no. I took one step at a time if I really wanted a cig then I would have one, one step at a time. Some may be able to go cold turkey and stop analog on day one but for me from 11-20 analog a day I went to 1-3 a day for the first week then second week I had none analog what so ever. So wish you the best and from what I heard the 510 is pretty good. Rather then the 510 I went with the 901 but I put in an order for 2 Riva Kits this past weekend (waiting ......). The battery was a hassle to charge so I got the Riva because mainly for the battery size and also to try the 510 LOL ok peace outs

Welcome to ECF and congrats on your purchase, the 510 is a great starter kit, just make sure you always have somewhere to charge your extra battery because the battery life is usually about 2 hours or so. You should get great taste and good vapor out of it. It got me off cigarettes and then upgraded to an eGo which is a 510 with bigger batteries and I have been smoke free for over 4 months now.

So I got my 510 quite a few days ago now and I'm loving it! I had heard people complaining a lot about the battery life but it's really not that bad in my opinion. My only complaint is the leaky carts. :/ I'd really like to find a way to fix that. So far I'm vaping a newport juice that I like quite a bit. I'm excited to try out some new flavors once I understand how to refill the carts a bit better. I feel like I'm doing it wrong haha. I'm also thinking of trying out a kr808 sometime soon.
