Hey guys, im still pretty new here. I bought a Kr808 as my first e cig it was ok. Good vapor production but it would taste burned after a couple hits in my menthol flavor which is the only one i really liked.
Anyway i bought a blu and just got it 3 days ago. Its great and i like it. The only problem i have with it is that the carts hold way too little liquid.
Anyway my blu was working fine and dandy, today at work then i put it back in my pcc, and made the mistake of putting it tip down with a brand new cartridge in the pcc. And all the e juice dripped into my battery and around it.
Now my battery wont light up at all when i hit it(and wont hit at all but it does charge)
there was some e juice in there i tried to clean as much as i can. But it wont work. Is there anyway to fix this? or do i have to buy a new battery. I have one left which is not enough because i usually need two in rotation.(bat life)

I still didnt buy e liquid but have taken apart the carts and figured out how everything works, and how to refill them.

If i do have to buy a new battery:(, how are the volcano batterys? I cannot wait 2 weeks for a battery to come in from blu so how long does volcano take to ship stuff?
Also where is the best place to buy 310 carts(they hold more liquid right)?
How long does a bottle of 30 ml last of e juice?
Oh and is there any people out there that have tried a good orange/or citrus flavor e juice?
Also does the atty's from volcano hit better?
The one on my blu work really good(1 better then the other) and makes monster vapor when its a new cartridge then falls off because of lack of e juice.

Can i buy a manual batter that will fit my blu?
Also is there any carts i can buy that will not spill the e juice that will fit on the blu and are refillable?(like a better designed one)

If you guys can help me out i would appreciate it

Never used a blu, have been using 808 for the last 4 months.

If you still have your 808, I'd definitely suggest giving it another try. You should get decent cartomizer life on a well-filled carto, equivalent to around 10 - 12 cigs' worth of vaping at least between refills or changeout.

vaporsetc is right in Rochester, very fast on mail -- I get next-day on things in central NY. If you're closer to NYC, NHaler out of NJ would likely get you cartos pretty fast, they have a good reputation (coupon code saveinnj, vaporetc also has a coupon code, I believe)

You may have just gotten a bad set of prefilled cartos -- it does happen.

Bottle of rubbing alcohol, pour some into the bottle cap.

Put the battery connector end into it for a couple minutes -- try not to get the alcohol too much into the main battery compartment area.

Use a thumbtack or similar to poke through any holes in the sidewall of the connector, gently, to clear any stuff in there (not sure if the blu has such vents). Use the tack to sweep around the connector, between the outer wall and the center post.

Dry, with a folded up paper towel.

Give it a couple minutes, for residual alcohol to evaporate, and try it again.

vaporetc does have decent prices, super fast turnaround to Syracuse. I've been really happy with NHaler and vapor4life, too, typically 2 - 3 bus day turnaround.

Thanks man i am trying it right now, to see if it will work. If it doesnt oh well. I am buying my friends blu monday for 30, it wasent enough for him to quit analogs. So that will give me a extra 2 batteries, 2 atomizers, some carts, and the pcc, and the wall charger and usb cord.

I used to smoke a pack a day, so if i buy a bottle of e juice of 30 ml, how long should that last me. How many drops aprox come in that 30 ml bottle. If i use like 15 drops a day or somthing around there

My best advice is to stay away from blu and Volcano products. These are little batteries that will gradually lose power, will need to be recharged within a shorter amount of time, as times goes by, and won't last long overall. They need to be recharged very often, and you'll find that it becomes a PITA.

After you've had time to research some more, you'll find that most people end up buying an eGo kit and are satisfied, because eGo batteries will last all day long before needing to be recharged. There are many threads where eGos have been recommended by others. Try doing a search for "eGo" and you'll find tons of info.

A 30mL bottle should fill cartridges about 30 times. Or it will fill about 30 empty (blank) cartomizers (1mL to fill). Or it will refill about 60 cartomizers (1/2mL to refill).

Each mL is about 30 drops.

The time it will last you depends on how many mL you vape each day. I vape 6mL a day, but that's with constant vaping. Most people go through about 2mL to 4mL per day.

If you use 15 drops a day, a 30mL bottle will last you about 60 days.

I live around the syracuse area so vaporsetc is probably going to be my choice when i order for my 808.
Does anybody have a trick to fix fried batteries or something like that. Its not completly fried it still charges, the only thing is it wont hit. Maybe after it dries out it will be good?

Litecigusa.net is in PA, ships the same or next day, charges $2 for shipping (about the lowest you'll find), has great customer service, and has almost all the parts you'll need. They are my favorite supplier, and they are the favorite supplier for many others here. You can't go wrong if you order from them.

Thank you for the Vaporsetc. heads up!! I live 30 minutes from them and that'll be awesome for my friends that want to start to vape that don't have PC's! (older folks). Very decent prices too:)

Yea trust me i did alot of research. The battery life on the blu doesnt bother me at all because the pcc will last for about 24 hours. Yes you have to put you e cig to charge, but it does so in your pocket. Thats why they give you two batteries. I was actually considering buying a EGO for home use and around my friends, but i would feel weird smoking it at work or some other places because its so damn big. I really like the mini e cigs because they mimic real analog sizes. Where is the best place to buy a EGO? at joyetech.com or some other sites probably have it for cheaper. I was thinking of ordering the Volcano Inferno. Its basically the ego rebranded but i love the metalic red color. Thats a litte bit down the line. I am loving E cigarettes tho. And will probably end up buying a EGO/Inferno, and a 510 also. But not so soon. I have a Blu and a kr808. I dont have the money this second to buy all that tho but i will over time. Just have a collection of them for smoking. I love my blu on the go tho. I use it at work and other places where i dont want to stick out so bad as i would smoking a EGO.

After you try markfm's instructions, try shaking the battery like a thermometer, threaded end down -- to see if any of the liquid inside the battery will come out.

It is possible that your battery might work if you can get some of the liquid out -- or when it dries. Have no idea, though.

Well the alchol soak drying did not work. But i started smashing it against my hand lol, with the tip facing up and some more liquid came out. YAY. So maybe after i get all the liquid out it will work, i will let u know.

My second kit was a Volcano (very similar to blu) and it turned out to be the worst quality and the most expensive (with the worst customer service) of any vaping supplies I've bought. The best advice I can give you is to stay far, far away from blu and Volcano (including their new Inferno, which is probably cheap quality, based on their other products). You'll discover this when your PCC quits working as well (as time goes by) or when your blu batteries will need recharging more often, and with each day or every few days, they'll need to be recharged even more often.

My Volcano batteries got down to needing to be recharged after 10 minutes, and I'd only had the kit for about 2 weeks or less when that happened. I had to return three defective Volcano passthroughs that died within the first two weeks. I'm still waiting for two replacements a month later, with no responses to my three emails to Volcano during that time.

The best place currently to get a Joye eGo kit is litecigusa.net. It's $54.95 for two 650mAh batteries plus the other stuff that comes with a kit. Shipping fee is $2 from PA, same or next day shipping, great customer service, and they have most of the supplies you'll need (as compared to other suppliers) -- and they almost always have parts in stock.

You can buy a generic eGo (called a Riva) at Liberty-Flights.com, but they're usually out of stock, and I'd rather pay a little more for the better-quality eGo. That's up to you, though.

I understand why you like the size of the blu. The size of an eGo is about twice the diameter. The majority of new users want the size of a cigarette, and then within a couple of weeks after having to recharge the batteries every hour or so or less, they go for an eGo kit.

I just checked the vaporsetc.com web site. Nice web site. Higher prices than many of the other suppliers. Out of stock on a lot of items. Didn't see any eGos, just Rivas. No, thanks.

Their 808 pricing is decent, and don't forget to use the coupon code.
(good if you are in a rush, live in this area)

Compare vaporsetc.com with the prices at litecigusa.net to see what the difference is. Litecigusa.net only charges $2 for orders under $75 and ships from PA, which would take a day or two to get to NY. They ship the same or next day, have great customer service, has a rewards program for future savings on products, and they have almost all the parts you'll need for 808s, 510s, eGos, etc. The best part is they have all these parts almost always in stock, as opposed to "out of stock" at vaporsetc.com.

Here are the KR808D-1 kits and parts at Litecigusa.net:

Yes, however vaporsetc does have in stock 808 starter kits -- $37 (before discount) is indeed a good price, particularly as that is their standard price.

Nothing wrong with litecigusa, just that I live in cny, and Rochester is next-day, not even two days. A couple of new CNY people have been coming to ECF, and Rochester is the closest place.

(I actually use vapor4life and NHaler more often, have excellent experience with them, but vaporsetc has done really well on my couple of orders from them recently.)
