LOL. cost can be such a relative thing. I DIY my juice, and the base high nicotine juice, and PG - VG to dilute makes it cheaper. Then you start buying flavors from all the different suppliers, and end up with a few dozen bottles of flavors, and looking for more. It' is worth it when you make a juice that is really good, and you know nobody else has anything that comes close, anywhere!! :)
Mixing up some abbie juice now, yes, abbie, abbie-normal

Congrats and welcome to the DIY club.

Gee Stosh only a few dozen?????? I have real issues the DIY box is now at 185 mixing flavors.

ROTFLOL don't want to scare the newcomers,
I saw thread with everyone counting their flavors, I've only found a few dozen that I like.
I just mix different combinations of those flavors!! thousands of permutations......

I'm using Perfumer's Apprentice for the most part. Great flavors. I do my flavors strong--usually 18-20%. It's not perfumey. The only real problem is I taste the difference when I start using premixed juice; the flavors seem far too light; guess I've been spoiled.

And to the OP, I don't think the post is pointless at all. You're saving money big-time AND you have the satisfaction of being able to concoct the perfect vape. I'd call that many things, but pointless doesn't remotely come into the picture. Gratz!

Good times Aaron....well how did it turn out? Good? Ive done some diy.... turns out perfumey. Using flavor west flavorings.

Turned out great. I am not mixing flavors yet, but I started with White Chocolate. I made another of cotton candy to steep a few days before I use it. I did notice a significant difference in the flavor when what I made yesterday sat overnight.

Congrats to the OP for entering the fun world of DIY! I've been mixing my own e-liquid for a little over a year now. Typically I buy nicotine base in quantities up to 250-500ml at a time these days, PG and VG by the boatloads as well. Flavorings.. I don't even want to think about how many I have. I tend to mix for my entire family of vapers which is about a half dozen people. We all pitch in on the supplies, keep em dark and keep em cool and they last a long time. I do highly recommend you invest in child resistant caps for your bottles though, especially if you have children around. You can definitely save a ton of money, but to be honest, at first you will not. You'll be ordering every flavoring under the sun to try out, which is normal, and the cost will probably go up. After a while you'll settle into a few mixes you really like and you'll start to save some coin.

Enjoy!

I started mixing my own as well...a local bake shop sells LorAnn's flavorings so I got about 80% of the flavors they carry LOL - mixed up a chocolate praline w/ caramel and vanilla yesterday and today I can't stop vaping it...had to re-create it in a 0mg version because the nic was giving me a headache...hubby and I agree, smoking was never this enjoyable, ha ha!
