Just made my first purchase! Now need some cartridge advice

I'm the type who can hem and haw over details for way too long. Nothing wrong with a little research, but if I didn't just take the plunge and order something soon, I was gonna go crazy!

Went with the Volcano Inferno model. With their Black Friday deal and a coupon code which still worked in addition, I only paid a few bucks more than the $40 eGo kits that are for sale at other sites right now. I much prefer their combo of the 1000mAh battery and a 650mAh passthrough. No excuse to ever run out of charge now.

I wanted to get my order in quickly but realized with all my preparation, I forgot to make up my mind about whether I want to work with carts or cartomizers. I just got some basic carts for right now. Their juice is a little too expensive too so I'll try to find a deal elsewhere. What do you all recommend I should use with the Inferno? I heard someone say trying different flavors on the same atomizer can end up mixing and bleeding into each other, so that makes me think cartomizers are a better choice so they can be kept for 1 flavor each? We'll give the carts a try when they arrive but I want to be better informed on what I should try getting next.

Once you leave regular carts you will never go back. That meaning dripping, or cartomizers, or the apparently new and not so easy to find dripmizers.

I have to say that dripping or cartomizers are the way to go unless you want to modify your carts, which isn't hard, just another thing you need to do though.

In general though cartomizers have less flavor, but some will vape nearly as good a *well fed* atomizer. Im trying the Ce2s at 2.5 ohm now to great success, make sure you order a syringe if you get those, you won't need it for other cartomizers though.

Unmodded carts are pretty bad though in all my experience.


I personally drip and use cartomizers, depending on which is more suitable at the time.

I am guessing you got some blank carts or maybe some pre-filled with your kit.

So, i would try cartomizers and you will need juice.

The Inferno is an EGO, basically, any 510 product will work...

Personally I like the Boge soft cap. Be careful on LR atty's/carto's. A lot of discussion lately about them burning up batteries. I use the Boge LR carto's and they are 2.0 ohms. Some LR atty's are 1.5...

Thanks for the replies guys. Well the Inferno comes setup perfectly for dripping so as soon as I get extra juice I will definitely give that a try. I got a kit for my GF as well but I don't think she'll want to be carrying juice around with her all day so definitely want something in terms of a cartridge or cartomizer. I got cartridges just so we have something to try right away when it arrives but maybe I'll add their mega cartomizers to my order so we can use those.

Depending on how much she vapes, you could fill up a few cartomizers, and put the "condoms" back on them and she can throw them in her pocket or bag. She should be good for the day.

Yeah, if you don't want to be carrying around juice you will definitely want carto's.

Cart is maybe 1-2 analogs max before needing to top off.

Carto is probably 7-8 analogs or so.
