My sister gave me her old 510 set up 34 days ago when she upgraded. I have now been 27 days without an analog. In that time I've dropped from 36 mg to 18 mg on a regular basis (mainly just after I wake up) and often add a drop or two of 0 nic/0 flavor just to keep my vapor producing or vape at 0 mg during large chunks of the day just 'cuz. I can see myself eventually getting to 0 mg completely! This from 1 - 1 1/2 packs a day of full flavor for the last 24 years. Two more months of vaping (which I don't see any problem accomplishing) and that will be the longest I have ever gone without a cigarette since I was 14. Just had to type this out, it's so unbelievable to me. I'm the guy who told all my friends that I was going to be cremated just so I could have one last smoke when I go!!

Yay me!

Yay is right! And, isn't it great ... surprising ... to me at least, shocking, how easy it was. Of course, I'm assuming it was easy for you, but your post sure makes it sound like it was. :)

You're four weeks in: have you noticed things like a return of your senses of taste and smell?

I was a carton a week for 35+ years. Like you, I didn't think it was possible for me to quit (while living). 8.5 months for me now, with zero desire to set a rolled up tube of tobacco leaves afire, ever again.

A big congratulations to you!

Actually I've noticed that flavors are stronger. I was a HEAVY mustard user, I had a hotdog the other day and had trouble breathing when I dropped on my normal amount of mustard. I've noticed that the smell of cigarette smoke is bothering me, I'd hate to be around a cigar, which I used to enjoy. I've dropped the amount of sodas I'm drinking and hitting more water (thirstier from the PG I'm guessing).

One of the main things I've noticed is I had joint pain for years, mainly in my knees, which I thought was early onset arthritis. I always ignored my doc when he said smoking could be the cause. Nothing worked, not pain killers, anti-inflamatories, nothing. I haven't had any pain in my knees since I came off the cigs.
