Congratulations! I've tapered my nic down from 24mg to 3mg since I started, but one thing that I noticed is that after a few months of vaping I wasn't as obsessed about getting to my vape like I used to be with cigarettes.

If I was working on something or busy with some task, I'd usually set miniature goals to achieve and then go smoke - like "I'll get these bolts out, clean up the threads, and go have a smoke". If I'm working on something now, I really don't think about going to have a vape, I just keep going. And there were times when I would be working on something critical and while half my brain would be on the project, the other half would keep reminding me that I hadn't had a smoke in however many minutes or hours. Nowadays, it doesn't happen.

I like to look at that as a sign of something positive.

Congrats! I've been at it for 7 years having started at 24 mg. I'm at 3 mg now and need to make the jump to 0. Problem is I've got a stockpile of 3 mg juice sitting her.
I got down to zero my first yr and went back to three just because it tasted better. I consider three a negligible amount. Probably much better for my body than the amount of caffeine that I drink.

^that's the point I'm at right now, after cutting down from 24-18-12-6-3-0. I have two identical e-liquids in front of me, one is 0 and one is 3mg, and the 3mg just tastes better...and I mean lotssss better (they're both 80/20, so I know it's not a vg/pg thing)

My sister introduced me to electronic cigarettes around 7.5 years ago.
She has struggled somewhat over the years with switching, but I took to it like a fish to water.
Her husband also took to it with no problems.

Anyway, my sister is not only finally no longer smoking, but is also on zero nicotine.
(due to having a stent put in her heart)

My brother-in-law is on 3mg nicotine although he often vapes zero as well.

Anyway, we had dinner with them last night and my iCare ran out of juice.
So he filled me up with some 3mg Honeydew that is amazing.

So now I'm vaping 3mg until it's gone.
    Then back to zero.
    :)

I got 4 1 liter bottles of 100mg My freedom smokes liquid in the freezer lol, that last 3mg was actually the hardest at least for me, I hope you can climb down to the 0mg base camp lol :)

    Congrats, VapinginmyBoots!

I transitioned from 24mg down to zero several years ago. Zero nic was boring, so I moved back up to 3mg where I could at least sense a slight nic bite. It was an easy road from 24mg to 3mg and I never had any withdrawal symptoms.

I haven't had a cigarette since April 2011. The first month I vaped (in April 2010) I went quickly from 2 PAD to 6 cigs a day. Vaping worked for me to quit the smoking easily.
