It could be some bad attys or the nasty pepper coco taste of the casablanca from bwb. I just cant enjoy the flavor. However im new to attys and the ones i have glow red within 0.4 seconds of hits the switch on the ego. So much so that it melts the plastic on the factory pre filled carts. Ive blown them out, stuck paper towels in there over night, primed them well, etc. I guess im just a carto fan for now:confused:

The plastic shouldn't be melting on the atty like that. It sounds like the cartridge isn't inserted correctly. You need to make sure that the two flat sides of the cartridge are lined up so one is on each side of your button...up and down...not sideways. With whistletip cartridges it's easier because the tip will be flat.

Dripping is done with either a drip tip or an empty cartridge and the liquid is dripped directly on the bridge of the atty.

I have a couple of attys that have been de-bridged and a few that I've simply de-wicked. When you say foam, I assume you mean the filler in your cartridge. Yes, you can take that out.

How to De-Bridge an Atty

I will warn you that if you're not careful when de-bridging you will ruin your atty. Once an atomizer has been de-bridged it can only be used for dripping. Cartridges and cartomizers will not work with anymore.
