I believe it works as a passthrough but not as a true passthough, meaning, you can vape with it plugged in but it draws power from the battery in the mod and not from the usb itself. Got this info from one of Pbusardo's reviews on youtube. I think he just reviewed that battery recently.

Thanks, I'll go look for that review. :toast:

I just got my twists today and at first I was pleased, but I'm having problems. I ordered it with two Kanger MT3s. Was vaping fine with Tribeca from Halo. So in my other tank I put Midnight Apple which I loved at first but it's always gave me fits in my mini tanks for my G6. I used it all up, what little I had left. Then I rinsed it and put my current new fave, Angle's kiss in. I'm still messing with the voltage. I don't know what is two high or two low yet, but I started at 3.2v and increased it .2 until it started to taste burnt. Well I turned it all the way back down and it still tasted burnt. So I switched the coil out. It was fine for a few hits then it just started tasting bad again. 3.2v it taste ok but there is barely any vapor, 4v and it tasted weird. Do I need a diff Ohm? It came with 2.5ohm coils and I ordered 5 extra ones. Please help. I think I'm totally lost switching to VV.

Just out curiosity, what is the PG/VG ratio of the juice that is causing you problems, and does the juice work in other delivery systems without problems? High VG ratio juices are thick and don't wick as well.

A 2.5 ohm coil should be able to work at 4+ volts without problems.

Try searching for T3 problems and fixes, google or in the forum. The MT3 is a T3 with a metal jacket. Many people have modified theirs to work better for them.

Hopefully someone will come along with more helpful info soon, they may want to know the PG/VG ratio though.

I have a ego twist 1000mah and it's been working well so far, everything else hasn't though. I'm very displeased.

You may want to start a new thread, list what kind of equipment you are having problems with, the problems you are having. The settings you are using,(Volts), and the juice along with the PG/VG ratio. Many veterans browse the new members forum and are more than willing to help out. All veterans started somewhere, and it could be they experienced some of the same problems as you, they may have the solution. Best of luck to you.

Twist/Spinner/winders are good batteries and widely used, hopefully someone can help you.

It's 70/30. I'm new to the ratio thing. But this is what was suggested on HHV

That shouldn't be the problem then, I would try the juice in a different topper and see if that helps. The T3/MT3 seems to either hit or miss, hope someone comes along soon to help you. You could make a new thread about the Kanger problems, someone might have the answer.

I was lucky enough about a month ago to have an intermediate vaper get me off what most of you call "gas station brands" (Logic mainly). I went directly to buying a Provari Mini, and LOVED it.

However, it was taking a beating, and after realizing the "wraps" were not enough to keep it in as good condition as I'd like, I bought an 1100 mAh eGo-C Twist (altsmoke.com, by the way, in case any of you are finding questionable looking units out there for purchase). Sorta wish I'd started out with this, though I benefit immensely from the ohmmeter on my Provari.

Anyway, speaking of metering, though I'm sure there's a thread for this, I'd be interested in hearing how accurate your Twists are, voltage-wise. I don't have one of those fancy 510-threaded meters, but I used a standard probed multimeter on my Twist and it's between roughly 1.5 and 2 tenths off (for example: 4.8 read 4.94, 4.4 read 4.61, and 3.8 read 3.97).

Provari was dead-on, so I ruled out my probing technique as an issue.
