I just ordered an eGo-T yesterday for $40 from mypvshop. I have been wanting to try one and the price was nice. I also ordered a LR atty and some more tanks from liberty flights.
Hopefully I don't have a bunch of issues with this kit.
What kind of juice is recommended for these? I have 100% PG, 80/20, and 100%vg.
Thanks!

Go 80/20.... but that might be still a little viscous. The designer, Ovale, recommends 65/35 PG/VG. I've used 70/30 up to 50/50.

So thinner juices work better? Would 100% PG work without issues?

I would think so. I usually vape 70/30 but I have used 40/60 and had no problems. Basically as long as you get the tanks to seat properly, it shouldn't leak much at all. I have some random liquid come out where the tank goes in but that is not often and its not enough to worry about. Never had a leak down by the battery connection though and I have been using mine for a couple of months now.

If you do find you are getting a strange plasticky and/or burnt taste, don't bother buying more of the atties. I regret doing so thinking it was an issue that might pass with perseverance. Get some matching cones and slap in whatever else works for you. I'm rocking CE2 XL clearomizers with the ego and cone and am loving it.

Ovale who designed these recommends 65/35. 70/30 to 50/50 works for me.

Sadly- not many of the vendors are telling people this information.

I'd like to note that none of the burnt eGo-T atties can I attribute to the juice being too thick. The thickest juice I have run for the last 3-4 weeks is 50:50 VG:pG. The last 2 weeks I have been running 45:50:5 VG:pG:H2O (not including any diluents included in the flavorings).

All things being equal such as atty VG/PG/Nic, I have found that just the particular flavoring/flavoring combination used can have a profound impact on whether a burnt taste occurs. Whether the burnt taste can go away after switching juices is another issue, and my eGo-T atties lose that battle hands-down. I noticed my CE2s can taste burnt/nasty with a particular recipe that my eGo-T (for short while) or 510-T (indefinitely) can handle just fine, but the CE2s can revert to perfectly normal vaping by simply switching juices. This has usually not been the case with my eGo-Ts. My experience with the 510-T is an entirely different story: BEST vapor experience all-around and the longest lasting atty so far with one particular atty going strong after over 1 month of steady use. My eGo-Ts have irreparably produced burnt tastes after just a couple of days to at most 2 weeks.
