It's a Tobeco Velocity rda, but that's beside the point. I've been vaping for years now, and this is the first time I've purchased a "real" clone (full disclosure: I had a K100, which some people considered a clone of the Empire mod, but the Empire has a 901 connection; I have a GV Sentinel M16, which is an improved "clone" of a Sentinel "clone"; and I have a Russian 91%, but I felt it significantly improved upon the KFL that was available at the time and which I still think is better than the KFL+).
Anyways, I'm fortunate enough to have the means to purchase a $100+ authentic, and I'm perfectly willing to do so. It irks me, though, that there are probably thousands of people like me who are literally trying to throw money at these high-end device makers, yet the device makers can't seem to keep their product in stock for more than a few hours (sometimes minutes) at a time. Come on guys, this isn't the early days of vaping anymore - if you make a device that everyone is raving about, people WILL buy it, and people WILL pay full price for it. If you don't have capacity, it's not that difficult to find a machine shop (even in the US) that can pump out a few thousand pieces. Literally all you have to do is MAKE YOUR PRODUCT AVAILABLE.
Sorry for the rant. I'm usually against clones (especially when I think the cloned product is innovative, as I do with the Velocity), I just don't understand why it's so difficult for some manufacturers to figure out the "supply" part of "supply and demand."
